Good news! How did it go?

Yesterday I could barely get out of bed without help, today I woke up all rested, jumped out of the bed and ran down the stairs. I almost can't believe how quickly I felt better. I got so happy I got all teary eyed earlier.
I still feel a bit sore in my lower back but compared to the hell I've had the last weeks, it's nothing.

I'm gonna relax today, but tomorrow I'll go for a run. And on monday I'm getting back to the gym.

I couldn't wait until monday so I went to the gym today! Ah, it felt so nice to be back! I was a little bit weaker than I was a month ago when I was last there, but it doesn't matter. It was so nice to get the blood pumping again. Tomorrow I'm gonna go back and train my legs

The power of chemistry (and hard work)

After I got sunburned some time ago I got some strange red rashes on my shoulders and neck. They take some while to get rid of with steroid creams, and they look really bad. Luckily they don't itch or hurt.

Today the results from the doctor came at they are most likely caused by lupus.

Djeezes christ, give me a break with these autoimmune diseases!! Wasnt one enough? My body really really don't like me anymore. I can't do anything else than laugh it off.

Top it off with a bad outbreak of herpes on my upper lip, so I can't inject cimzia until it's over.

At least my back feels better than ever and I'm now able to do exercises while lieing on my back. Hellooooooo bench presses! I've been wanting to be able to do bench presses for such a long time, and now I can do it! My chest is really responding and most of my old t-shirts are getting too tight over my chest

It sure could be lupus.
Many of us have had strange rashes that come and go.
It does seem like too much sun will bring out strange reactions to an AS body.....

Try L-Lysine for cold sores 500mg/day. Been taking for years per dr suggestion & it works.

cst- that means when "snow" gets cold, she is not such a sore loser...

I'm using valaciclovir for my cold sore. It seems to be working, so hopefully I can inject my cimzia next week.

Also, i was prescribed a powerful steroid cream and most of my rashes on my neck and shoulders are gone. I still have two big thick red patches on my left arm. I hope they will dissappear soon to, because i feel i get a lot of what-the-[*bleep*]-is-that looks when i use short sleeves. It looks bad.
