I confess to not being familiar with EU regulations, but secukinumab is approved in the EU for AS: https://www.novartis.com/news/media-rele...-treat-patients

NICE is the UK authority who decide whether the clinical benefit of treatments are effective (and cost effective) enough to be offered under the National Health Service.

It's approved in the U.S. Rheumatologist thinks it's generally a bit less effective than the anti-TNFs but that it might be good for patients who have a lot of enthesitis.

Have you had any update on this?

I have my next clinic appointment in April and am thinking about asking about Secukinumab, having previously been scared off anti-tnf.

Hi there, no update as yet. They are so rubbish I doubt they have even submitted an application. Have an appointment in a few weeks. Will let you know how I get on.

Ask for it, I doubt they will suggest it as it will cost an awful lot of cash!
