If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello every one! I still feel like this website is 'my family', strange as that may sound. Miss reading up on all your antics, laughs and cries for I once shared the very same as you. So saddened to hear of Timo's passing. He is in a better place now. Our One Special Angel. He watches over all here. Have taken the next step for me and contacted the local MS Society. Am gonna go to my first MS support meeting next month. They have welcomed me with open arms. I feel like I finally belong and can speak openly with others who understand my symptoms. One thing still makes me wonder. I tested positive for the HLA-B27. Was that a minor finding or what else does it mean? I still have MS spinal pain. Will be able to take advantage of massage for it. Massage always hurts me. Painfully stiff in the mornings. I try not to think too much about it. OK now that I have rambled on too long, I wish all of you a very Happy Easter.

Have you looked into Dr. Terry Wahls's work? She put her MS into remission with diet.

Hi Magician. You have a happy easter too. I'm pleased you have the MS society to give you support, and hope it all goes well for you.

Hey Angie, Happy Easter to you too! On HLA B27, approx 8% of Caucasians are positive for this antigen but only a small fraction ever develop AS. Most folks positive for HLA B27 are healthy. (That is why being positive is not diagnostic, but can 'support' a diagnosis in combination with other findings.) Really glad to hear that you're connecting with a MS support group. As we know, it can be quite a comfort to meet with others who can relate with your experiences and it's a good feeling just to have the opportunity to help each other. Take good care and keep looking after yourself!

Hi Magic!!
I'm so glad to hear you will be meeting up with people who understand, and that you will finally have the support you need. What a long, twisty road you've travelled.
Please check in here periodically? You are part of the KA family, you know. After all these years, how could it be otherwise? We care about you and it's always good to know how you are doing, AS or not.
Love and warm hugs,
Kat

Magic, glad you are going to join up with other MS folks for support. As for the HLA-B27, you might just happen to have it. Most people with it do not have spondy, like Mig says. Hugs as you go forth on your adventures.
