If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Can there be a connection between the two? I have a persistent staph infection in sinuses which pre-dates my AS and have long been wondering if it one of the causes of AS or just another manifestation of the same issue with the immune system...

Don't know if there is an AS connection or not. I do know that when I went NSD my sinus problem approved a lot. I have had sinus problems my whole life. Sinus surgery doctors allergists etc. I no longer have allergies it has been about six years since I had any trouble. I can start having problems if I think I can starch it up,nose gets stuffed up. Good luck the improvement in my sinus health alone has been worth it. ETTE. Darrel

I've definitely had problems in the past with my sinuses, but never thought it might have a connection with AS...
Have you tried the NSD or been put on any prescription meds for the AS? Has any treatment for AS affected your sinus issues?

I am on NSD/LSD since many years and, although I do get minor flare ups here and there, I normally manage without any medications. My sinus problems probably got better on the diet, but I still have a post-nasal drip and still need a daily nose rinse to clear the stuffed nose.

You may have undiagnosed allergies, which can happen when your immune system is crackers, like ours. If you are always experiencing a stuffy nose, it might be something like dust or dust mites. It could be dairy. Could be pollen. I would suggest you have allergy tests to find out. Some things you can't do much about but simply have to cope. Others might be treatable. Personally, according to the testing I've had done, I should walk around in a bubble because I am allergic to so many things. Can't do that and won't live on antihistamines along with all my other meds, so I cope.
Just a thought.
Warm Hugs,
Kat
