I follow a no starch do dairy diet, and have been for 8 years. Though I eat rice it causes no inflammation in me.
In the food guide eggs are listed as "generally safe". Organic eggs are very healthy, and I'm thinking about trying to eat them again.
For the people who follow some kind of diet to deal with their AS, do you tolerate egg? Is one form more easily digested than the other? What is best between raw, boiled and fried? - from a digestion standpoint.

I have never excluded eggs in any form, albeit not taken much raw. They have never been a problem and in fact in all cooked forms are the most important food source in my NSD regimen.

I eat a lot of eggs (minimum 3 per day) in every way including raw (in smoothies). I've never had a problem with them .....except I cracked one into the frying pan last night and it was ROTTEN! Bleurgh.....Lucky that didn't go into my smoothie...recommend practicing good egg hygiene.
I prefer scrambled so I can add in more fat....but love them poached too. Fried for convenience, hard boiled to take with me to work for a snack....omelettes.....I rely on eggs a lot.

I'm sensitive / allergic to casein protein in dairy and to a lesser extent egg protein, the way others have celiac disease to gluten.
I'm in my august flare, so am being very careful not just with dairy right now, but eggs as well.

Spondyloarthropathy, HLAB27 negative Humira (still methylprednisone for flares, just not as often. Aleve if needed, rarely.) LDN/zanaflex/flector patches over SI/ice vits C, D. probiotics. hyaluronic acid. CoQ, Mg, Ca, K. chiro walk, bike no dairy (casein sensitivity), limited eggs, limited yeast (bread)

Hi I now eat eggs quite alot. Hardly ever had them in my former high starch life. I find them easiest digested poached or scrambled. Cooking them too long as in hard boiled eggs is harder for me to digest.
AS, IBS, reflux oesophagitis and dysphagia, PCOS/insulin resistance, asthma... Currently managing my AS with humira, methotrexate, low starch diet and exercises. Also taking omeprazole, metformin etc.

I do not eat a lot of eggs, but have never had an issue with them.

I also eat a lot of eggs with no problems. I have them fried, boiled, and mixed in with almond/coconut flour recipes.

AS symptoms started 1991. Official dx in 2006 with HLA-B27+, fused SIJ, bone spurs in back, extreme rib/hip pain, and other family with SpA. Started Enbrel in 2006 with good results, but stopped in 2010 due to nerve damage (MS) from it. Getting good results with no-starch diet since 2011.
