Thought I would pop in and say hello. It's been a loooooonnnnnngggggggggg time. I think it's been over a year since I've posted however I have checked in on you all from time to time.

Winter, will it ever go away???????? Last year was brutal then a cold wet summer then this winter was even more brutal. Months of sub zero temps and lots of snow and the end of March and still snow and cold. Mayber it just seems worse because we couldn't take our trip to Florida this winter.
As every year, we have fed hay and corn for the deer and has been our entertainment over the long winter. The best part is now we are seeing not only 150 + healthy deer but also starting to notice "baby bumps" on the does. We should have a bumper crop of fawns this year.

gentle hugs
Cindy

Hey there Cindy

Great to see you checking in...I looked at your post history and you are correct, it has been more than a year since last post smile

I hope you are doing well. I recall that you went to Florida last year... hope AS did not keep you from visiting this year.

I would enjoy the deer watching. Here we have birds, bats, small lizards, scorpions (I think we killed the last of them inside the house) and 1 rat I killed in small garden.

Best to you,

Tim

This year it seems like winter never arrived. East Coast got all of our snow.

I agree with Smed, our winter has been very mild. It was cold in December, but mild since then. I am worried about having enough water this summer. We rely on snow fall for summer water.

Cindy - Great to see you here, after too long a time. Hope you and the knees are well. Was only thinking of you a few days ago - the lass sharing my room in the hospital also has latex intolerance and she was first down for her investigation.

Really good to see you. And yes, horrid winter but think you guys got it in really in the neck. Hope you make it to a warmer clime soon...

No such wildlife here in my wee back garden - but many birds - now looking forward to the babies learning to fly. Hope the three prowling cats do not make any catches !!

Take care Cindy - many (((HUGS))) hugss

I'm tired of winter this is two bad ones in a row. I just hope spring and summer are warmer this year. We haven't seen a robin yet, there a couple of weeks late this year. Makes me think a warm spring is just a pipe dream. Today is the last day for my stove i hope the weather cooperates. Mike

Hey Tim, you can keep the scorpions and rats, I love my fury friends.
I think the last time I posted was just before my c-spine fusion which went unbelievably well.

Steve, I had no idea it was so dry in Utah. I can't imagine like Smed not having enough water. I can deal with the snow I just hate sub zero temps.

Molly, so good to hear from you. How are you doing? I've lost touch with so many old friends here. I do keep you all in my thoughts and prayers
