I play the piano and sing and just spent the last hour working on O Holy Night for a solo on Christmas Eve candlelight service. Husband might sing with me. Love that song. Like Silent Night, Mary did you Know, and What Child is this?

My wife used to sing in church, even has a music CD she made 10-15 years ago that hit market down here (small scale).

She is wanting to sing a song this Christmas.

Would love to be at your Church service to hear the song.

Peace

Tim

My wife´s family are huge Carpenter fans, my wife thinks she has one of the best voices ever.

Hope you are doing well. smile

Silent Night makes me think of my mother, she cried at Christmas Eve service whenever the congregation sang the song.

I read a book that had the history of that song, very interesting.

My favorite is Do you Hear What I Hear any version but Whitney Houston version is hard to beat.

agree with Elmer that any Christmas song sung by Karen Carpenter is great and like a warm fire. Seem to hear Merry Christmas Darling the most this time of year.

Also love the contrast of David Bowie and Bing Crosby singing the Little Drummer Boy

Not sure if it qualifies as Christmas song but alos fond of Dan Fogelberg and Same Old Lang Syne
