If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi Sinta
What is this monodiet you refer to? Did you start the antibiotics first or the NSD? What do you think was most instrumental in getting rid of your pain?
(Which one is you in the photograph?)

Yes indeed, good steak and vino - see the diet is not that bad! Don't you just love it - I don't hold back on what we can have. No way. Don't drink red wine though - gave it up when I first got diagnosed and really see the difference if I have even a sip (well a big one). White wine is my drink. Enjoy! Ali

Hi Dave, Nice to meet you here in the cyber-world. I do not get to the computer every day either. I look forward to more of your questions. The Diet took three months to take effect for me. Antibiotics (Cipro 28 days followed by Tetracycline 28 days) were administered after two months for another condition. This seemed to KICK the AS into remission. I still have occasional "niggling" pains and a noisy neck but was able to kick NSAIDs for good. Eating starch will still flare me also. I fast or apple diet every couple months as well. Talk to You Soon, ike

Dear Dave,
The monodiet is 3 days apple diet and I think this is quite good for a cleaning process as a start.
I start the antibiotics at the same time I start NSD.
I don't know what the most instrumental in getting rid off my pain but I think my pain reduce gradually, not on one shot.
Actually the antibiotics (cipro) trigger my flare and it's pretty bad but it's normal according to John so I stick on it until the end of the cycle. At that time, I took Cipro, do NSD and still take some nsaids otherwise I can't walk at all. But in the couple of days, I able to reduce the nsaids dosage and finally I didn't take any.
So, I continue the cipro with flagyl and tetracycline and stick on NSD. As a result, my condition is getting better and I reach the stage of no pain and no nsaids.
My photograph? I'm the one on the right, the other one is my niece.
