Well my friends...
Last week I managed Krav Level 1 plus which includes 30 extra minutes of endurance training Monday: 90 min
Tuesday Krav Maga bag: 60 min
Wednesday: Krav Maga Level 2 Plus: 90 minutes
Thursday: Krav Maga Level 2/3 Plus: 90 minutes
Saturday: It was my BIG day. After postponing testing out of Level II twice because my grandsons were both born early and then AS monster crawled back up on my back something awful the last year. I finally felt I had a clear head and focus to test out. Hubby was out of town. I told my younger children and they were my sparring partners for prep. LOL That was QUITE the sight since my son couldn't stop laughing every time we practiced him sitting on top of me and me tossing him off. doh laugh2 That was on Friday night. Sofia spent the night at her best friends.
I picked her up and she went to her Krav bag class and I went in to test at 12. I was a wreck when I got there. Mainly, because I had no partner. I went in solo and was teamed up with a couple of fellows that I've trained with. Very kind. Then I was moved to an instructor for awhile. Then finally I had another partner after his partner walked out. She got frustrated and quit.
At 5 I walked out with my Krav Maga level II coin!
Officially a level III student now!
Of course I'm still bruised up and cant wait for my Humira shot tomorrow ! sick1
After 4 1/2 hours of testing I feel like I have an edge over AS....PPffffft to you AS monster. This grammie is gonna keep on kickin AS ! 1cup
Good job everyone....keep on going!!!
You ol' pal buggy...shuffle shuffle... cool

Ran 3 miles this morning. It was a year ago today that I fell while running, and broke my shoulder. I remember flying threw the air thinking this is going to hurt. I was right here on the bridge when I tripped.

Yesterday I went on a 9.5 mile run. It was a little farther than I was planning on.

Yesterday I went skiing. I was coming down a steep run, and it was icy. I fell down. It was not a hard fall. Then I started to slide down the mountain head first. I was thinking I have got to get my skis in front of me so that I can stop. I finally got my skis in front. The skis dug into the ice. Instead of stopping it spun me around so my head was in front again. I continued on my journey down the mountain head first. I put my arms out front because near the bottom there was a sign that said "Slow". I thought I might hit it. Luckily I missed the sign, but didn't stop till I was at the bottom of the run. It was a good day on the slopes.

This morning I ran 3 miles.

Yesterday I was planning on a 10 mile run. I was not feeling well. I struggled to make it to 8 miles. I then walked 2.75 miles. Didn't really feel well all day. Feeling much better today.
