I know it will make a difference. Just to be able to stop that pain and be able to walk more will help everything else.

Look at the bright side....that 4 1/2 hrs will pass much quicker for you than the family in the waiting room.   Heal fast and well. Will be thinking of you that day. Same week a friend of mine will be having a spine surgery (laminectomy). Lots of surgeries this month. Big, gentle hugs to all.
DX: Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriasis
Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away.
Epidural Steroid Injections x8; Lumbar Radiofreq Ablation x2
SIJ Steroid Injection x3; Bilateral Radiofreq Ablation SIJ x9

It's totally understandable to have some jitters about the surgery Possi! Will be thinking of you and hope that the surgery gives you some good results!

Thanks Rumble and you are very right about that. Every time the hospital or dr. calls me about something else though I get a little butterfly in my stomach. :o)
The only thing left is to go in Wed for cross-typing in case of need.
I appreciate your thoughts. Are you ok? Getting some sunshine?
It was cloudy most of the day here but dry.

SUPnut!! :o) Thank you. I appreciate the encouragement and the good thoughts. You all have helped me a lot in this process. I feel like it is going to give me some help with my back and that in itself will help me deal with the RA and other stuff.

The best of luck with the surgery, Possi. I feel very hopeful for you because it seemed for a long time as though there was nothing they could do for you. Maybe at last you will get some relief.
