This time next week I will be a couple of hours in to surgery. I really have mixed feelings about it. I am so hopeful for some pain relief and ease in getting around but a little apprehensive about a 4 1/2 hr. surgery!!

Hey you,
Now don't start worrying too much. You know whose hands you are in right? I was in 4 hours to have my pump put in recently and it was fine. I did find that the only problem with that is that all of the extra anesthesia puts your bladder to sleep so ask them in advance to put a catheter in while you are still out because it sure hurts if you are awake.
Well, I haven't stopped praying for this surgery so I will keep on with the keeping on!

Hi Possi,
We will all be thinking of you on your OR day. I know it sounds like a long operation, but doc's and nurses are very use to these types of surgeries. I wish you all the best. Will someone post on how you are post-op?

Thanks Pea. Yes, I know Who is in control. :o) They will put a catheter in. The PA called and talked to me more yesterday and told me what scripts they are faxing in.
