hey pea,
I am where you are , bad storms, endless pain, and my husband helps me walk around our property looking at my years of work. The garden is going in slow, I have 40 squash plants ( 2 kinds ) in 8 pole beans, 10 broc, 50 tomato , Starting 50 more spinach ( yum, we had to re seed, they like the green house , which I find strange ) , but as of yet, besides the starting and transplanting, my husband does everything now... I am hitting the 5 yr mark with this flare up, and my beautiful yard is showing the signs.. Oh well, tho my hands are messed up, I have come up with a lot of things to help me start, and transplant my plants. I am sorry if I worried you, I just want to be honest and quit holding in what I am suppressing . Plus, when my pain is so high, I talk in circles and quite focus outside of the circle. BUT, I am getting better when it comes to the cycle, but sometimes it gets the best of me. Which I KNOW everyone on here can understand, and I want to know I am not alone with these feelings, but let others know they are not alone either.

Good to hear from you Becky. I understand so much walking around looking at all of your hard work. Thankfully, mine looks pretty good this year, thanks to my daughter and my husband. I just like getting my hands in the dirt.

I also understand the talking in circles. I have blamed it on the pain meds but maybe it is the pain itself.

Watch the storms.

Hugs and Blessings.

I am looking for a good pain psychologist, and tho I am down and have lost my sense of humor and hope, my garden rocks. Lots of veggies going to the senior center. smile ... thank goodness for a pushy, intimidating husband./

Hi Becky,

I am sorry to hear about your pain. I could not believe how much my RA hurt and it was all I thought about talked about etc because I was in pain 24/7.

Do your labs show inflammation because then you can go to pain management. I was told that you do not have to take antidepressants if you do not want to, they cannot make you take something that has horrible side effects, such as suicide. If you have labs or mri that shoes inflammation them you can go to pain mgmt. I am not sure how it works without it. I hope you get some relief.

Juicing for one week only with fruits and vegetables got me out of severe pain. I now juice once or twice a day, stay away from animal products and starches and I cannot beging to tellyou the difference, better than all the biologics I tried fro sure with no blood disorder side effects, (I always got the blood disorder side effects and one heart reaction that sent me to the ER during an infusion)

How are you feeling today? I'm going to church tonight, I'll say a prayer for you while I am there.Take care.

Diet change has improved my RA. I feel best eating raw veggies and some fruits and avoiding grains, sugars, nightshades, beans and dairy. Sed rate dropped from 65 to 19, but it took over a year.
