If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I'm going to be seen for a dermatology appt follow up soon, after having melanoma last summer (I get seen every 3 months). Recently there was some information about a study done suggesting that baby aspirin daily could help combat recurrences of melanoma. I'm off all NSAIDS...but wonder if baby aspirin a small enough dose that it would not be problematic for people with AS? If my dermatologist suggest this for her patients, I want to be thinking about it, and would love any feedback you may have first! Thank you so much. http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2013/03/...dly-skin-cancer

Hey Jan, I would go with a daily dose of curcumin. Super anti-inflammatory, natural TNF-Blockers, and there are studies out there about it's benefit against melanoma: http://www.melanoma.org/community/mpip-m...hting-substanceor http://curcumin.net/story/curcumin-and-melanomaBest place to get it: http://www.turmeric-curcumin.com/I was told about it by a older fellow who has been taking it for years along with NSD and is now totally symptom free of AS. I take curcumin (turmeric extract) a fews times a week to wipe out any aches or pains. -Andrea

I'm now a KICK AS (and Kick IBD) success story!! After going low starch Paleo to heal my gut, I can now eat nearly all starches, grains & foods without inflammation, flare-ups, or pain. I used a modified SCD diet approach (minus dairy! plus cacao ♥). Cheers to healing & thriving again! I blog at http://www.forestandfauna.com/about/

Thank you Andrea, that is very encouraging! I take Zyflamend, which has lots of turmeric in it, I wonder if that is good enough. Maybe I should add straight curcumin as a supplement, thank you for providing that link. When I was first diagnosed with uveitis, I had no idea about AS or anything. My eye flared so badly, even with strong pred forte drops every half hour at one point. I could see nothing from that eye, not even shadows. My late mother researched and bought me turmeric capsules. Meantime, I found out some information about anti-inflammatory eating and coincidence? My flare started to calm down until my eye had no cells of inflammation! Thanks again, my friend!
