Well, he could not do the nerve ablation again. He had planned to in the Lumbar region. I am like a pin cushion. Hubby pulled bandages off of me from my neck to my tailbone. crazy He did some epidurals and some more facet injections. I was there Jan. 10,Feb. 7 and March 7. He is talking to Neurosurgeons to see if there is any agreement that we can safely do something in a small area where it is so closed up that he can't get the needle in.

I am very sore today but sore feels good over the overwhelming pain the day before. I have been up most of the night but maybe it will help.

He wants to try to get something done in the next 2 weeks before everyone is busy with Spring Break. I have to see several drs. first to check out heart, kidneys and liver. crazy2 He also said that I WAY under medicate for my pain. I know this.

Just filling you in. Have a super day.

Hugs.

Gosh Possi, what are they going to do to help you? I feel so bad that you are going through this. Glad he is getting together with the Neuro to see what they can do but it is in the waiting isn't it? Many prayers and hand holding you through this. If it isn't one thing it's another. I have to have an Echo done on my heart now to and see why the sucker is pumping so fast all of the time before I have my pain pump put in. It is weary making to have to do all of the test. Lot's of prayers, hugs and thoughts going your way dear friend.

((Molly)) Thanks so much for the good thoughts and prayers. I don't know for sure what we are going to do. I don't think they do either. The dr. said that it was like I am in jail. He said "I can't see a way out." He is very kind and very understanding. He said my back has just had it between the RA and AS and add in some normal aging deterioration. He said I still have one "kind of" good disc. Mostly severe and the rest moderate and some in the thoracic are out of place. He said that I should be using a walker all of the time.

I could be very bummed but I decided not to go there.

Hugs Molly. I really appreciate your friendship

Pea,I hope the tachycardia doesn't slow down your pain pump procedure for long. Do you take a beta blocker or anything for it?

I am so glad you got to go shopping. I am getting ready to get some shopping done.....online! I really would like to be out and about shopping. I have gotten to go to church the past two Sundays and we went out with the fam to celebrate hubby's birthday the other night. I laughed so hard that I really hurt my back. It was fun having fun. There are things that are worth the pay backs like your shopping!

I have a Christmas present that I needed to exchange but couldn't get to the store in the mall. Guess I will hope I go down a size before next winter or I will regift it to my daughter who gave it to me. :o)

Enjoy all you can of the weekend.

Joyce

so sorry they could not do the procedure you were looking for. I have had 4 epidurals on each side in one day and that was painful enough...I can't imagine having more than that done in a day. My heart goes out to you. I hope the soreness goes away and you get some pain relief. have a great weekend...hope you are able to catch up on all the pie orders that came in while you were on vacation. wink

I can not defeat you but I will not let you win

Thanks Jeff. The pie orders are stacking up Makes me feel important! :o)

It was painful; still is...very. It did not help. It was not nearly as painful as the Phenol ablation though. He called yesterday to give me the name of the Neuro Surgeon who will be calling the first of the week. I went to the library today. Hubby let me out at the curb. I made it in and sat down and read a paper. After walking in, I hurt too much to check out books. If I let myself be, I would be rather bummed.

I love coming here to visit and get my next pie orders.

Thanks for your friendship.
