When I lived in Florida, hurricanes were always an excuse for a hurricane party, go for it. Do stay safe my dear.

Sounds like you are doing mighty well through all the chemo. Good deal because when my dad was on it, it was horrible so I am glad to hear you are gaining and exercising through it. How long now before your surgery?

Yea Michelle - great to see you, up and about, sounding cheery and full o'beans. Well done hon. AND, going NSD...WOW. Well done. (Might think about LDN? Will treat gut, help with AS and treat cancer. And no nasty side effects! My pvt UK GP treated his cancer with LDN and continues to treat his AS, keeping it under control, plus his MS. Very successful. But do nowt unless running it past your medical team first... Mebbe keep the LDN for after the heavy treatment bouts are through).

Hi Shari, I think on the weight gain with me, a few pounds is re-hydration, a few pounds can probably be attributed to muscle conversion and I went to the NSD forum and got some dessert recipes and I keep baked goods on hand...I love my sweets, that's for sure!!! I'm still about 15 pounds down but I'm firming up nicely with all the exercise I'm doing now that my pain levels are down.... I hope all is well with you...big hugs, my friend!!!!

Oh Sherri...my body loves it!!! I can't believe how much muscle I had lost...but it's coming back quickly, Lon and I were talking on the phone one day and he mentioned muscle memory and for some reason, that set me on the path...I've been so inspired by the Fitness Team....Erica has done something wonderful there!!!
