Have a great time at this! I'll be there in spirit as a true Ontarian! Kath, are you headed there? Allan, when you do come to Ontario there is a nice place in NORTHERN Manitoba you should visit! Then you will truly be a "Canadian" with the book tour:-). We still have snow and it's muddy as heck.

Enjoy the gathering!

Hey Sammee, no I won't be going. Wish I could tho!

Snow and mud, eh. Great combination. Not. But never fear, the snow will melt and the sun will dry the mud, sooner or later.

Love and Hugs,

Kat

Samzee! When did you move to Manitoba?!? Realise I haven't been around much, so may have been anytime over the last 6 years or so. I've been looking at your website and LOVING it. So impressed with you going to a First Nations community. Some of my best friends from med school take care of northern Manitoba communities - where are ya?

Hope the spondy monster is kept at bay for you and that my home province is taking good care of you!

Hi Dan,

I'm afraid that I am just not going to be able to make this after all. frown1 I have been working CRAZY hours (actually thought I'd already missed this in a blur last week) ... and I really need to work this weekend too. I am so exhausted, there is just no way I can squeeze this in, as much as I wanted to come. New job is very nearly killing me.

So annoyed I have to miss out and very sorry I won't get the chance to see you!! We'll have to plan another TO meet-up.

Hugs!!

Well I made it to the seminar, but didn't see anyone that I recognized. I was in the registration and lobby area for a bit before it started but I had to leave at the lunch break. Sorry if I missed anyone. I thought it was pretty good, a little different then the last one I went to. When I get home I will post the pictures I took.

Thanks for these, Dan! So, was the focus of this one exercise, then?

Warm hugs,

Kat

Exercise and on new stuff comming out. Two new biological meds comming soon and that they are now trying to get all the info out there pooled together so everyone (Dr's research people and patients get all the info). which is a good thing in my mind. They are really focusing on getting the info to the GP's which will help towards getting earlier diagnosis of the AS patients.

Two new biologics! What are they, please?

There's been a movement on simplifying the diagnostic criteria and on education for a few years, now. Glad to hear they're ramping it up. The more GPs that can identify AS, and any other chronic disease, earlier , the better.

Warm hugs,

Kat
