So I saw the Ortho Surgeon last Tuesday and I got the call yesterday that I am booked for May 11....wow that was quick.

She was quite concerned about the way I was walking and the pain I am in,so yay !! I don't look forward to the surgery because it is very painful and now I know what to expect because I've had foot surgery smirk I will be getting my other foot redone also....not at all happy with that but if it's going to help I'm all for it.

So I may be off work for alot of the summer...may never go back to the Casino because there is so much walking involved. I guess only time will tell.

Yea for the quick date! Yea for a doc who wants to make you feel less pain. What is the surgery you are having? I'm almost sure you've said, but I can't remember...sorry. Hope you are making a list of the stuff you've got to do/get before your recovery...(books to read, crutches, etc). Enjoy your down time. Prayers for you and the doc for the surgery and recovery.

Here's some links on Botox Sherri - bit of a mix, but might find summat of interest.

Good luck with the surgery - Positive thoughts for the best of outcomes and an uneventful recovery.

Hi Sherri

May 11th is pretty quick,, hope it can go as pain free as possible. Sounds like you are well prepared for the recovery. How long will it take before you will be able to get around on the crutches? No more Roller Derby for you for awhile. Nobody likes to lose their job but sometimes reality can come in and make the decision for us. Hope that's not the case. You hang in there Sherri and I will be thinking of you on the 11th. Check in when you can. smile

I can not defeat you but I will not let you win
