If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Well.. I stopped by a Thai restaurant and asked for no wheat in a green curry. Turns out they add chicken powder to it which is full of wheat / tapioca flour. So now I know why I react to some Thai restaurants! Also, they make the curry sauce in bulk. So they can't just remove it. Instead I asked for a stir fry with no oyster sauce and now am happy with meal in hand

Yep - it sucks when they add all that unnecessary rubbish!
I love Thai food but I have to just eat it at home - then I know that the coconut milk is extracted from coconut and nothing else, and the flavourings are fish sauce, lime juice, chilli garlic and coriander - all single wholefoods!
I can even eat a couple of tablespoons of rice if it is well rinsed and I do it only about once a week!

Can I just tell you HOW MUCH I MISS THAI FOOD?!?!?! That is really the single food I miss. I have been able to go and get Chicken Coconut Soup with minor to no flare. And I have been very satisfied with making my own coconut chicken soup at home with my own coconut milk, fish sauce, lime juice and a small scoop of green curry, which doesn't bother me as long as its small amount of these spices. I'm too afraid to try any stir fry's or anything else on the menu. I *thought* when I was ordering Laarb Salad (which should just be a lime juice marinated beef over lettuce, I felt really stiff and come to find out the marinade includes powdered rice.
Seriously, if I found out the world was ending I'd just go on a Thai food binge for days.

Heh, Thai is SOO overrated in my opinion.
I certainly miss Vietnamese though! Summer rolls etc. OMG. Brings back memories of Saigon. I still worry that I will not easily be able to travel through Asia again because all of the food is starchy.
When I find a solution to this I will go back for another holiday!

Yeah, I always hear how good Vietnamese food is...I've only tried a few here in the states and wasn't real impressed.
I have always wanted to travel to Thailand so I could eat my way through the country, but sadly those plans have taken a back seat. Not sure I could even enjoy myself sightseeing knowing the food of Heaven is all around me, haha!

Phil Well, you'd better come back and live in Melbourne! There is a huge Vietnamese population here and they have gradually moved out from a couple of Vietnamese epicentres, so there are plenty of places to eat not too far from many suburbs - we have at least 3 to choose from within a 10 min drive! Yum.....
