If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I was recommended trying Apple cider vinegar as a treatment for my mild colitis that I have. So far it seems to have helped a bit, but it also seems to have dulled my AS a lot too. I only have a slight bit of sacroiliac pain at the moment.
Has anyone else here tried Apple Cider vinegar as a treatment for AS or for the IBS part of AS? Id be interested to hear if it has effected other people in a good way?
Im taking the braggs one. Its fully organic and non filtered to help keep in the good bits!
Back on Salazopyrin after taking a break for 2 years. Might try going dairy free. Sugar & bread are the main killers for me!

I bought some of that, (still have it) those bits look kind of nasty in there!! Haven't been brave enough to take it.
I should get brave and just do it. Do you mix some in water? How much? Thanks for letting us know it seems to work!

Hi John. I use Bragg's ACV every morning as part of homemade concoction. It says to sip it but I kind of gulp it down. I guess I'm just rather thirsty when I wake up in the morning. I don't use it for anything specific (health condition), but rather as an overall alkalizer (hopefully) for health betterment. Any raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar should do. Bragg's just happens to be most readily available here. Good distribution I guess.
Kind Regards, Jay

Don't worry about the particles floating around in there. Just shake it up. I sweeten it up with a bit of stevia.
Kind Regards, Jay

Hi Donette,
I heard those nasty bits are an important part of it! I just mix about two teaspoons of it into a glass of water and drink it twice a day. It seems to help, I wouldnt say its an amazing change but seems to help all the same. Its supposed to help with giving you energy too, which is handy when you can feel tired during flare-ups.
Best of luck, John

Thanks for the tips Jay. I heard it was supposed to make you more alkaline alright. That could be good for stomach problems alright. I might try to sweeten it next time I drink so, to see how it goes. Best of luck, John

Was advocated many moons ago by a Dr Brown, a great UK rheumatologist (often wondered IF any relation to the great Dr Brown, rheumatologist, in Australia?) Alter the Ph factor of the body, ACV one day and fresh squeezed lemon juice with soda-bic the other day. Yes, can sweeten, use stevia or Manuka honey. My father put me on it/advocated its use when I was in my 20s - but I never stuck to it! Heigh, great to read that this old recipe for arthritic conditions is still around. Terrif - (Mebbe I should try it again, but I sure did detest the taste - which still 'lingers'...! ) Molly C (France) Keeping on Keeping on (as we do)

I take it when I remember. "Folk Medicine" was written long ago, but has some great practical insight on health and wellness. The author is a great proponent of ACV for many things. The Bragg's book on ACV is an interesting read, too.
Wishing you abundant health, Ann

Hi Ann - Thank you. ACV is used here in Fr. for chickens, put in their water, keeps the gut clean and healthy. So, that is what I am doing. Every day, fresh water with a spoon of ACV added. Hope it does the trick...
Health back to you - Molly C
