Chris, one of my youngest son's buddies told him they're developing something called "tactical combat golf" at the former royal courses outside of Kabul and Bagram.

Maybe we could introduce falling as a part of the competition-- "creative seeking of cover and concealment".

I'm glad you're good at it and didn't get hurt too bad.

Hey Chris,

Read the title and it sounded a lot like a Lon story... read it and I do believe it is very much on par with some of Lon's stories he posts.

Hope you are feeling better today.

Tim

Love the title of your post Chris and congrats on sticking the 5 point landing!!! but oh dear, ow that must have hurt!!!

No doubt you are seriously stiff and sore after that unusual non-round of not really getting to play or faciliate the jr golfers.

Heal up soon, I hope the aftermath pain is not too awful.

I bet by now everything is hurting. Ouch! I did something like that last year at VBS. I was leading a bunch of kids from one area to another so they could get refreshments. One of the boys was running, came up behind me and cut in front of me. I fell in front of everyone. The Pastor saw me fall and came running out, afraid that I was hurt. I managed to get myself up on my feet before anyone could help. I felt so awkward. My dignity hurt more then anything else.

I hope you are not hurting too much. It's time for that warm bath with lots of Epsom salts.

Ouch! Glad you kept the sense of humor intact. yes Must be something in the air these days. I didn't take a fall (yet), but stubbed one of my newly healed and straightened toes on a table leg in the dark and cracked it. No damage to surgery site since it was only a tendon release. Had to admit it to the surgeon today at my postop and had to endure some joking. Next, more night lights in the house.

And it sucks to have to get through that horrid stiff phase as you recover. Hugs, Chris. <chuckle>
