Anyone else have experience with taking these two medications together or even just the Methotrexate in general? My husband has been on Enbrel for almost a year and is now adding Methotrexate. We'd love some insight!

I have taken both for about 8 years. I feel like they gave my life back to me. I do have to be careful about infections.
I had bladder surgery a few years ago and had to go off the Enbrel for 2 weeks prior and 4 weeks after the surgery. I know it works because I sure needed it after the 6 weeks.

Michelle is another member who has been on both, but unfortunately looks like MTX has not been so good to her (also mentioned that she knew someone who died from MTX side effects recently!) https://www.kickas.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=447510#Post447510So I guess like most powerful drugs, MTX is helpful for some but very bad for others. Something to keep a close eye on.
