If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I WAS using a Caruso Molecular Steam curler set, which was working great for me, with minimal time holding anything up in the air, minimal fussage, and my hair despises curling unless it's wet and dries that way (the bane of hairdressers everywhere) but the other day my unit died, so today I'm curling it with a wet brush, hair spray, and three different curling irons, and y'know how you spend like a YEAR holding the damn curling iron up above your head, and it hurts your hands, arms and shoulders really REALLY bad? Plus hurts your legs from standing? Plus it's bad for my hair . . . but it's also the only way I can get any poof into it to hide my bald spots from all my meds and stress and stuff. And tonight's my niece's graduation party and that'd be SO great for an 18-yr-old to have her Cool Aunt show up showing scalp. lol (plus I'm meeting my new sis-in-law tonight . . . wanna look nice. =) I most definitely need a new Caruso, but i thought I'd ask everyone what they use, and if there are any nifty tricks I could pick up. My hair's naturally on the wavy side of straight, and SUPER fine, and I LOVE the Caruso and can recommend it to everyone (steamed-up foam curlers you let set for 15 minutes and Voila! It curls even MY hair for at least two days!)

sorry, can't really help here. i wash it, wrap it in a towel, then brush it a little and throw it back in a ponytail or use a barrette to hold the front parts back so i can wear it long. i have to admit, i stopped blow drying long before i couldn't due to the hands, decided it was healthier for my hair to just let it dry naturally.
may not be all fancy looking, but its nice and soft, no dry ends. i spend the money on a mild shampoo (nondetergent jason, or alba, or burt's bees) and a good conditioner. of course the better the product, the less i use, so really maybe not any more expensive in the long run.
i pulled a ligament in my ulnar wrist washing my long hair at one point, and thus shortly after, got my hair cut much shorter, shoulder length.
this is one thing i've just decided not to fight. but i don't have any balding spots. if i did, i realize it would be a bigger issue.

When my hair was long (cut it off last week), I had a perm. I would mousse/spray it while it was wet and curly, then dry it with a diffuser. I would kind of scrunch it as i dried it to give body at the scalp. It was way easy. So now it is short, and the bad thing is, most of my perm got cut off. But I try to still do the same thing. Sometimes I curl a few ringlets into it, but only on a good day. Apparently my hands, wrists and shoulders DO NOT care if I look pretty. They don't want to play anymore. I must say, sleeping and shampooing are so much easier with short hair. Even with bald spots, you'll still be beautiful Bridge!!

goddess,
I usually wash my hair, dress then get on my Harley and ride 100 mph for ten minutes and it is as straight as can be. No ironing necessary.

I have been wearing it short and permed for many years. I was having so much pain in my shoulders, elbows and hands that I couldn't use a blow-dryer or curling iron. My hairdresser describes my style as wash & wear. I wash it, pick it out and scrunch it a bit and let it dry by itself.

I think your hair sounds exactly like mine! naturally on the wavy side of straight, and SUPER fine It's too hard for me to manage steam curlers, but without a perm even, you can do Donette's trick if you use a really good product like this... then just let it air dry. This is THE best product out there, imo. http://www.frizzoff.com/5-Curl-Keeper-And-trade-.aspx Of course, since you didn't give us lead time for you to be ordering new stuff... I suggest blow-drying it nice and straight - you will look fab! Otherwise, using regular rollers on wet hair and letting it dry naturally should give you the same curl as the steam does, it just takes forever to dry. Hugs, mig

I blow dry my hair, and use hot rollers or a chi straight iron. This seems to help combat the humidity best. I get my hot rollers at target, and they've lasted years.
A tip---use a texture spray if you curl or straighten it right after blow drying. Otherwise, it won't work right. I usually wash my hair and dry it the night before, then style it the next day.

I kinda look in the mirror and if I see the possibility of having to comb or fix anything it comes off. You look good in a cowboy hat Bridge, may I suggest a good double S palm hat. ETTE> Darrel.

should add too that i'm lucky to have naturally curly/wavy hair; the more humid it is, the better my hair looks. another reason i don't really have to do anything to it. but if its long its outa control, thus keeping it shorter is better overall.
