Every spring I wander out onto the golf course wondering if AS has won this little piece of real estate. Can I, will I be able to play enough to enjoy the day and not be woefully sore for many thereafter

I am already fused to a point where its is a wonderment to me that I even can produce something that would hit the ball. Oddly as any ability I have to play diminshes my enjoyment of my diminshed achy ability increases.

SO out I went with four friends today and played a rather sad imitation of the game. It was 47 degrees, dreary and windy as could be. Lousy weather for much anything but certainly AS and golf. I had a wonderful time. Skills down anther five or six clicks. Shot an abysmal 53 on the front nine and pieced together a 44 on the back nine. Loved every second of it even though it was ... well ugly by the standards of any one who golfed much.

Funny how this thing AS (and i give it no credit) has allowed me to redefine how and where my joyous moments and victories are achieved. gonna go watch a Disney movie Lemonade mouth with three little nine year olds and there mama... another victory

Thank you SUe for your kind words. Lately I've been a bit more worn out than usual, so the golf respite was a delight albeit far from perfect it was just the momentary spark needed to get back on the rather crazy treadmill I've been on lately.

Hopefully I can keep my attitude where it belongs

Kind words like yours help....plus hopefully l0 or 12 more rounds of golf over the next few months.

THank you Donnette. Lately I'd have given myself about a 50 but I like the 98. As for ole AS, he always gets 0 and a kick in the chops for good measure.

I am sure that is a much better score than I could ever hit. I have not golfed for 20 years. I am not even sure if I am a right or left handed golfer anymore. I am left handed naturally, but I grew up golfing right handed. I did put both right and left.

Good job, keep it going.

just like you I am alefthaded righty. Mistrained as a righty and a natural lefty i write lefthanded, throw a ball right handed, hit a baseball from the left side but golf righty. Clearly this is the source of our mutual greatnness

Glad to hear that the AS Monster took one in the chops. Heck a 97 is respectable. After the winter that I have had I'm sure I'll take that score in a heartbeat.

I haven't tackled the links yet this year. The friggin' weather has sucked. Snowing, raining or freezing. Today is did get the 60 but with the last week of rain the courses haven't brought out the swamp buggies but they would be the only way to get around the local courses. I'll get out there soon enough. or I'll wind up out at my buddy's place playing Sawgrass on his sim in his garage..LOL

Keep Kickin'AS
Chris
