If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Erica - I'm so impressed at how you've kept this thread and all these members exercising away so diligently all these months. As I hobbled out for my walk today (forgot my celebrex last night - can barely hobble today) I realized that I could probably bump your total number up if I calculated how much I walk to work. Most days (probably average 4 days a week because some weeks I have to take the car), I walk to and from walk - about 15 mins each way. I guess that could count. So I added up the last six months - approximately 48 hours of walking. Today - in the sun, I hobbled for about half an hour. Last weekend I walked around the block, something I used to do daily until my RA kicked in. It includes a big hill so it's usually too difficult for me these days but my hubby came with me so I limped up the hill and finished the circuit - about and hour. It used to take me 40 minutes of very fast walking when I was fit and we. I've walked at other times through the last six months but didn't track and can't remember but I think today I could contribute: Walking to work: 48 hours over six months Last weekend: 1 hour Today: 1/2 hour

[quote/] Exactly! It's amazing what we do that keeps us moving. I tried something weird for pain last night and it worked. I took 10 my extra of Cymbalta because a pharmacist recommended it after an achy day... And it worked. No pain Meds at all today and I even sat up and worked on an art project for several hours with my niece and grandniece.

Today I swam 1,000 yds in 45 minutes. Kind of slow today, but we were distracted by a basketball game playing on the mega tv at the end of the pool. Now we know where we're going for football games. Go TEAM!

Hello friends.. Thursday stats: Krav CB: 60 min Been a busy weekend. Had to clear out alot of weeds...i hate crabgrass!! I bought a small hoe to work with at big lots...I want to laugh when i type that... dirty minded buggie! It was easier to get rid of the weeds that way. But my hands are paying for it dearly today. Finished mulching. Also cleaned out all the weeds in the side of the house where my little ferns are slowly growing again for spring! Today, Art put in the edging for the tip of the front yard that I mulched. I was pleased with all the stuff we cleaned out. Cloudy both days but when the sun DID pop out..we were roasting! Bronchitis is slowly leaving..thank God! Still cant smell much of anything but in least I can breathe better. No KM this weekend..wanted to get better. Hands were too swollen anyhow. Enjoyed watching my wee bugs play with our boxer outside...He snored both friday night and saturday night..kids drained him for once! Good job everyone....this place is rockin!!!

Didn't run Saturday because I was skiing. Skied for 4 hours. Here is some video http://gallery.me.com/orch#100000I got to start getting more miles in because I am running a 1/2 marathon in May.

hello all! good to see you again john! and to see how much you are still walking and biking! glad to see you make the time every day even at work. i'm good at home, but work, there isn't anywhere as nice to walk so i don't as much. but its staying light longer so i make it home before dark more, then i walk when i get home. otherwise i take shorter walks through the buildings but don't report them, i could but......... buggie, all that gardening! my hubby finally able to be out in the yard again over the weekend, we had snow and 20s for a two week period the end of march, crazy but this weekend, in the 50s. i wait til may when its in the 70s to go out to my herb garden, just in time for black fly season! steve, good luck with the 1/2 marathon! i used to run, loved it so much! but now am grateful to be able to go for walks, and grateful that we have so much flora and fauna around. was just thinking yesterday how nice it is to have farm fields across the street, to be able to stop and watch the birds in the brush. yesterday a cardinal serenaded me for awhile, i know it was just for me! erica, glad to see that you are still swimming away from AS (as molly might say)! and everyone else, i'm sure i kept going out for walks no matter how cold it was because you'd all hold me accountable. thank you!

saturday: walked, 2 miles, 45 minutes. with hubby, to the beaver pond. its huge! and getting huger! 1 big dam, and they're building another. and 1 big den with 2 smaller one's in construction. and the hedgerow devastation is quite remarkable. promise to take and post photos of it soon. though hubby says its hard to capture on film; he's tried. none the less, i'll try. sure that farmer brown will be putting an end to it soon before it takes over too much more of his fields. already can't get farm equipment from one field to the next through there. started out as a nice little pond with some nice interesting wildlife, a nice stop on our walks. amazing what little engineers the beavers are.
sunday: walked 1 mile 25 minutes. along the road. ipod in one direction, but batteries died midway, which was a good thing because the birds were in full force with their singing. you can always tell the beginning of spring by all the birds courting one another.
LDN users, don't skip your dose of LDN! think that's the culprit. hadn't taken it friday night, and saturdays walk, could feel it in my heels, right hamstring tendon/knee, right hip. and/or walking through the fields to get to the pond could be more than walking along the road. but sunday's walk a bit better; not wanting to push it, did just a mile to be safe, as could feel all those body parts still not completely happy. nothing terrible though.

monday: walked 1 mile 25 minutes.
figured out the leg, knee, hip pain. the new chiro was putting a wedge under my right leg, my regular guy always puts it under my pelvis. this was enough to irritate my leg. really noticed it today when going out for a walk right after my session. good to know. but boy am i a delicate flower! LOL, when in the world did that happen. but more seriously now i'm concerned if i'll be able to walk around DC at the end of the week / next week when i go to my meeting. if something is irritating me and i continue to irritate it, it snowballs. fingers crossed this doesn't turn into the next big thing, from such a small seemingly trivial thing.

Today I swam 1,000 yds in under an hour... SLOW the last two days. Somehow I irritated my sacrum and am now - and for the last 6 hrs - in bed w/ 20mg cyclobenzaprine & 10mg oxycodone over the past 10 hrs. I know that's not a lot, but for me it's more than double what it usually takes to quell the beast. Good job keeping moving everyone Go TEAM!
