Last couple of weeks I have rowed 14 miles and cycled 20 miles at the gym. Keep on forgetting to check in here with my totals. Have only managed twice a week last two weeks, but hoping to get back to three times a week from next.

Monday stats: KM bag: 60 min
KM I : 60 min.

Good evening fellow kickers! yes
Buggy is back and breathing a bit better. Still have about 1/2 my voice gone but I can smell again and taste a bit of my food. Hadnt been hit this hard with cooties in a long time! Ugh. Took 2 packs of zpak antibiotics, 3 breathing treatments and 2 double doses of steroid shots to get me back on the road to recovery. I had forgotten how wretched bronchitis can be. no

Was off all week so went to km back to back yesterday. Never again. But today I did gardening.

Finished mulching the front yard strip where our boxer runs through. I figured theres not a chance that grass is ever gonna grow there with that silly boxer of ours running thru there in least 100x a day every day. eyes I had Art set up the bags against the wooden lawn chairs so i didnt have to move anything. Just scooped away and got it done.
I had little man help me today. If you can call it that! laugh2 He and Bubba collected pecans..then he popped his baby tooth while snacking on a pecan piece. eyes It was very loose but he had blood---so 911 buggy to the rescue. Then get him cleaned up and back out again. This time there was a bee circling near my soft drink. My son proceeds to tell his best friend Bubba to get it away. My boxer listened to him. *sigh*. Next thing you know..bee sting. Bubba is rolling in the grass and my son is hysterical ...again! eyes He didnt really mean it. He loves his dog. So luckily I had some benadryl and gave it to our pooch and he is fine. grin

I trimmed one of our huge red tip bushes into a double pom pom style if that makes sense? One rounded top, then trimmed in the middle down bare, then a bottom pom shape at the base. I was too tired to do the giant one--its 2 side by side. I'll try that tomorrow.

I also picked up a lovely bush called golden climbing showers. It has thorns like a rose but the flower looks like a yellow cross between a hibiscus and rose. I'll have to google it. Probably have Art plant it this weekend. We had a cool front move through so it was pleasant outside today! rainbow

Good job Lon, Erika, and everyone else !!! Go team!!! 1cup

Thanks. smile I am still not up to much cheerleading. I did finally get about 1/2 of my appetite back. I hear that's normal. My perceptions are weird right now, because there's the first benefit concert in a week in Seattle and it is taking place less than 3 months after my daughter died. I have done a lot of reading about deaths from mental illness, and it seems that lots of friend/family groups immerse themselves in self-destructive activities after such a loss. The amazing thing is exactly the opposite is happening in my girl's case. Her friends, siblings, and loves have rallied like crazy and are full on involved in raising funds for NAMI via her facebook foundation page , fighting stigma, and raising awareness. I am SO GRATEFUL that all these "kids" are doing something so incredibly healthy and positive to try and save other people from my daughter's sad fate. I'm truly mind boggled, but still... not a whole lot of energy. Swimming is saving my sanity for sure! hugss
