Latest update:
You remember I made an appt to see Dr E, my rheumy who moved across the state, leaving me with a class A-1 jerk who decided I only have fibromyalgia-by the way, the MRI report he said he couldn't find in my electronic records (therefore he thought I was lying), was right where it was supposed to be when my pcp looked it up(they have access to the same e-records). The jerk's partner will only see me if I show sacroilitis on MRI. Period, end of story for that clinic.

Today, I made reservations at a hotel near Dr E's office. Also, at the request of my hubby, I called the insurance and Dr E is out-of-network. But, the only other 2 rheumies in town are also out-of-network, so I guess it dosen't matter, and this way, I get an out of town trip with my hubby! wink

Take care and keep kicking AS!

More to follow soon. Getting tired of me yet? sleep
This is why I didn't post much for so many years: nothing too exciting in my life, but I like it that way. clap

Lillibelle - good on ya. Well done. Being jerked around one does NOT need. Have a great trip - look forward to yr update. (That Dr O needs to be advised that 1)sacroiliitis does not necessarily show up for years, and 2)women present differently! Wish he would go get educated.)

Hope your trip goes well and you can pick up where you left off with this rheumy. Some insurances will pay part of out-of-network expenses. Not as much as in network, but some would help. But an out-of-town trip with hubby is a plus. Enjoy the scenery. rainbow

Good luck and safe travels to your appointment.

It was good to find out right away and didn't waste any more time with Dr? A (you know what the A stands for !!!). Hope the trip is not too far away and is as pain free as possible.

Sick of you yet??? Naaa...We are actually interested and look forward to the update. laugh

Thanks, everyone!

I'm really looking forward to seeing Dr. E! She is always kind and caring. rainbow

I don't know if I passed this along, but even my pcp's clinic manager travels to Missoula to see Dr E. Her replacement has a habit of treating people very poorly. I filled out an on line review and the few people ahead of me who rated him didn't rate him very highly. When I was on the phone with my insurance co, the lady I spoke with gave me the address to write to so I can put a complaint in his record. She said it will come up when they review him the next time he tries to renew with this insurance co. I realize one voice won't make a huge impact, but I will do all I can to influence his life even if it is just a fraction of how he impacted my life for a few weeks. I'm not a vengeful person but he needs to know there are some conquences for treating people so poorly.

More updates to follow crazy

Lllibelle - it is nowt to do with vengeful. This guy is making life a misery for all too many, he owes a 'duty of care' whch he aint accepting. He is skiving his duty, he needs to learn. You could also put in a complaint to the powers that be - in the UK it would be the Brit Medical Association or if a hospital then to the hospital through the patient complaints procedure. You should have a summat similar where you live? He truly does need to know his job and he clearly does not.

Await yr update after seeing yr nice Dr E.

OK - am off to my monthly area spondy meeting. We have a new member, from England the area rep wrote me. Good. Can relapse into speaking English!!

Have a good one -
