yes I probably should have done it then as well. Thinking that this new doc hasn't really seen me at my worst yet.
May have to go back to get info for the last 2 years from my old doctor.
Anyway thanks for the input everybody!

It wasn't easy - I was let go by one doctor - new doctor didn't know me - So had to back to doctor you let me go - she had to fill out the papers - she did good job and I was accepted on disability for ODSP and CPPD right away. Disability tax credit came a year later. It was accepted right away.

Hi Kel.I was diagnosed with As in 2008.My doctor reccomended that i go on permanent didability from work.my insurance from work pays 2/3rds of my gross wages untill i am 65.I also applied to canada disabilty, and was accepted with no problem.I got cppd benefits with in 3 months. When i add the two benefits together i gross the same as if i was working,so my income is now the same.I did need my doctor and rheumatologist to send in applications for me.

did you know that if you are accepted by the insurance company and cppd ,that you can apply for a tax return from the day you were deemed disabled. It is a t22 form you can print off from the disability page fron the canadian government.I got 3100 dollars back after i applied. The money was from 2008 untill 2010 for taxes that i had over paid for a disabled person. The government will never tell you this.they want your money.I have now called canada disability and have had my income tax payments reduced to that of what a disabled person should be paying, approx lowered by 40%.

Hope this helps a little
