Oh Marsha, Marsha,

I do hope (He!) hasn't seen this, has he? Arghhhh.......lol
Now that we are close friends perhaps you might have a view on chapter 5. Remember though words like: Trash-Garbage- Don't bother-Awful and the like are not permitted in your chapter 5 review.......if curious folk hereabouts question you, nay maybe even torture you (Kat might), you must promise never to explain the chapter 5 of our secret code!!! Promise me Dow oh promis........oh sorry I mean Martia..!

It is a fact I think that I definitely am weird. Please disaregard most of the foregoing........errrr......

You folk are the best! Put a smile on my Enbrel day face (I take my shot this evening).

Lonnie, Lonnie, Bo Bonnie.... I'm sorry my vent was on the disappointing side. Frankly, I was tired of thinking about all the stuff I'm stressed about, too, so didn't feel like itemizing!!! laugh2 I've kept a journal for years. Many pages are full of the word BLECH (or BLAH) - ALL CAPS, and huge letters. Sort of a written primal scream. It's pronounced, well, the 'ch' is gutteral, kind of like the proper pronunciation of the 'h' in Hannukah. The 'ble' are pretty self-expalatory, I think. smile

Donette, Louise, Cindy, Gerr, Jeff, Lath ... BLECH away. You are very welcome to join me in this super-expression of frustration. grin

Steve, thanks for that. You know, it's funny, I never thought I was someone who excelled at things, who is an achiever. I'm just damned if I'm going to let this AS take away the things I love to do. Sometimes, to the point of utter stupidity, but I don't think there's really any rational thought to it. Gut survival instinct keeps me going. If I don't do these things, something my spirit dies, so I do them without regard for the physical toll. But then comes the crash. I'm kind of in the middle of the crash zone right now. As I recall, it was at around this time of year that my rheumy first told me I must pace myself. I hate those words, 'pace myself'. They say that most of us with AS can live a 'normal' life. I don't pace myself naturally, so constant energy output is my 'normal'. Therefore, if I must pace myself, I'm not living a normal life. It stands to reason. Doesn't it? wink

Dow and Allan, you two are too much. I adore you.

Dow, the zombie flick is still in post-production. Where it will remain until hell freezes over, it would appear. Lots of off-screen drama since shooting ended. The prima donna writer and director causing tons of trouble. Not been pretty.

OK, to work I go.

Love and hugs,

Kat

Well said! I personally find an AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHH or a GRRRRRRRRRRR to be quite a good expression too, and I've been feeling the need for it recently. Dark moon (the three days leading up to new moon) is always bad for me. Just proves my lunacy I guess.

I'll be interested to know how you find the therapy.

Now I whole heartedly understand that logic and believe I adhere to it too. Not sure why but it seems to work. Of course it would mena my and therefore your normal are abnormal since most folks do try to pace themselves so then by being normal are we not being normal. In which case should I go faster or slower.

I'm curious as to how the therapy will go, too. It's been 8 years since I last attended at a psychiatrist. This is a whole new therapist, however. She's a psychotherapist general practitioner - so a GP who's also a psychotherapist. Really, what it means for me is that these sessions will be covered by the government healthcare. Regular psychotherapists are not covered because they are not medical doctors and are considered 'alternative' medicine.

Mainly, I need to talk stuff through with someone who isn't my sweetie (who I imagine is heartily tired of some of it). And there are things I need to understand better. We'll see how it goes, anyway.

Warm hugs,

Kat
