If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Ran 4.2 miles today to 42:30 minutes. I ran outside even though it was only 16 degrees, and the wind was blowing. It felt great.

Monday stats: Womens KM: 60 min I met my friend for the 3rd time. I'm so pleased. We work well together. She's got about 5-6" on me so we make an interesting team ! lol We had another one of the female instructors I admire. She was pleased with my elbow strikes. Coming from her I was happy to hear that. I am also starting to remember my order of strikes and what goes where first! That was a big thing for me. It doesnt look clumsy anymore. This time they had our partner hold the kidney bag then we had to elbow strike non stop till she yelled switch then we had to go to a new partner and continue. about 4 different times! it was F U N! hee hee! The girl i had the 2nd time said "omg, I would never want to be hit by you!" I said "nah...unless you were the boogie man!" 2nd lady said the same thing. I've had her as a partner. She says "Man! you're strikes are frickin hard!" I admired her knee strikes though! 3rd lady was being very unfair though. She kept moving the bag up and down. I think she was trying to get me to not hit on target. Could be just me but it seemed kind of obvious. When she went first on the first rounds she was hard on her strikes and I rolled with the punches. Thats what you are supposed to do. But she didnt seem to want me to strike correctly. I wasnt hitting her or even close to her face or would I ever do that. And she knows that--she's been there a few times. sigh. oh well! it just bothered me because you can hurt your elbow if not extended or struck properly. ahh..always got a be a party pooper in the crowd! On a positive note, I spoke to the instructor afterwards about testing out in a couple of months. She's been there awhile so I value her optinion. Turns out we both have teenage daughters and we're both the same age! She understood how the body changes, but was very surprised at my health issues aka spondy monster and trying to shoot for the testing and doing bag considering my limitations. she was so supportive. i explained to her how weights werent an option for me and how its helped me cope with the AS monster. she really listened. so she said i can test with a regular person i may go to class with or i can show up on test day and just be partnered up if i wish. alot of it is built on endurance and then your movement, and accuracy, skill, etc; I used to be terrified of the thought of testing out. But now I feel as if I have nothing to lose. If I dont let myself do this I'll always be wondering in the back of my mind. If I fail, I'll hobble off and try again. If I pass, I'll be sure to laugh in the face of the monster we call AS Goooo team!! This bug is frozen right now with the weather! 18 over here! thats cold for texas! expecting snow tomorrow. wind chill factor is at about 5 degrees.! time for blankets and my favorite channel.the history channel!!

Today I swam 1,000 yds in 45 minutes. It's sunny here, so maybe we'll walk to the beach.

Today I swam about 750 yds in 40 minutes or so... lost count. Thanks for the TNF-a info. I'm posting it on her facebook so everyone there can read about it. Our family is saturated with arthritis, lupus, MS, Hashimoto's, Grave's, celiac, ad infinitum. Today is the first day I feel like eating a little bit, or rather that I don't gag on my food. I like watching you all post. It makes me feel like the world is still going on around me somewhere.

I got rear ended, again, Im going to do my stretches and hope this wont throw me into a nasty flare. Only in LA can you get rear ended, and have the guy tell you "there is no need to be nasty" after he implies you are going to go after him because he drives Jaguar. GROSS!!!
