Sorry your feeling so crap.Pneumonia is a terrible thing and very frightening I thought I was going to die last year when I had it.
Laying down is not good for it try and sleep sitting up so the muck doesn't lay in your lungs or prop the bed up head board end.
I know my worst time with my lungs is after laying down for 4 hours I can hardly breath. But if I get up for 30 mins and use my inhaler I have a good cough and clear the muck and I'm ok for another 4 hours.

Being a man of the cloth, mostly wool in the winter, I suggest, you purchase at a discount of course many of my old sermons that are so bad, they will make you giggle until you need to use the restroom. that laughing, will cause you to get that crap out of your lungs. You may need to learn to clear your throat (hack up a nugie) and spit more than you are doing now.
I also suggest along with what everyone else has said: that you garggle just a tad bit of Old Crow, something so nasty you will not be tempted to drink. If you have a predisposition to abuse alcohol, stop reading. Otherwise, I sure believe in it. I say this because we all know just how terrible this thing can be for us. A few drops in my sinus and I can breath better.
Now if what I am saying, does make you deathly ill, forget aobut all this advice.
Please get better. We do not know about tomorrow, but I know who holds the future.

Thank you Sweetheart, I know what a trying time this has been with your health also so it means alot for you to think about me.

I hope you are feeling better and I am going to call you in a few when I get my voice back and can not cough without hacking up a lung..lol

Sounds like we are in a bit of the same boat...I HATE insurance issues and I dont know if you remember but I have 2 of the best BCBS and Medicare which is usually wonderful except for the $5000.00 yearly deductible with 20% and the $1000 deductible with 20% on them.

I dont know what the who is going on but I would sure like to know..I have no doubt I need some more tests on my heart and lungs done.

Hey Rum...I know and I know its wrong but when your faced with financial hardship and it involves your kids I would do anything even if it means putting my own health in jeopardy...

There will be no remicade for me probly for a long while I am sure I will have to probly be at least 2 weeks free with another chest xray before he will even consider it so probly the first of feb which screws everything up.

How is your working for you better I hope.

I hear you about the pneumonia I have had it probly more than I have had sex (jk)....lol sorry wanted to liven things up but it could be a close second since I have been married almost 20 years so yep Ive had pneumonia probly close to 8000 times now...lol

No but in all seriousness....when I am in bed (sleeping or resting) I lay on 4 fluffy pillows per my Doc I think during the night I slide down to 2 by morning but at least I start out with 4..lol

Let me tell you I have as inhalers albuterol, xopenex and proventil plus advair plus xopenex for the nebulizer so I am doing about all I can do, anytime I can cough the stuff up I do, I take oh you know the drugs to try and keep the allergies cleared up so it doesnt turn into something it just seems like right now nothing is working.

Wish I could come see you we could sit around and puff together...inhalers that is..lol nanny, nanny I used mine and havent coughed in 3 minutes what about you???..lol Im sorry you go thru this to but its nice to know I have someone that knows what it feels like.

Wow, you pretty much said everything about how I am feeling...but that doesnt surprise me with you being the resident Admin, guru, psychic, notice I didnt say barn stealer..lol

I am trying to hang in there, this being like day 14 its getting tough..I like bedrest but this has been rough not being able to get up and around and move I am in alot of pain and now knowing that Remi probly at the very least in Feb and yes the insurance issue is causing me horrendous stress...I was trying to ease the financial burden by the stupendous like 350 million dollar power ball lotto here in the states. We dont play because I waste 2 dollars and get pizzed off but I told Bill go ahead this time and buy a couple...he forgot so even when there is a chance of hitting it big we forget...ahhhh the life..lol
