Thanks Dow...I had no idea about any of this...so does this mean I should move to a disability-friendly state...I can't say that I'd mind at this point, whatever it takes to get myself in a more disease-friendly lifestyle, I can't keep up anymore...  Thanks for looking into this... in the words of Linc...you rock!

Hi Micki...I took another look at the denial letter and it is for the SSI part...thanks for calling that to my attention that there are two parts! So, are you going to be able to pull off ten more quarters? Wow, that doesn't seem fair!

Thanks Erica!  I am going to keep at it, something has to give here, at this point, I can't work, so unless my rheumy is able to pull a giant rabbit out of her hat, I don't see this changing and this last year, I tried but that was a BAD idea!!  I don't think it's fair that we have to run ourselves broke before we can draw on something that we've paid into...that just doesn't seem right...  I will get an SSI attorney though, I think I'm going to check out the firm Lisa recommended, Alsup...

you are welcome Michelle and Holly! Man, I sure hope the new US health care laws will be helping some people around here! We fought very hard to help bring about that far-from-perfect reform as it now begins to exist (plenty of evidence of that battle is still on the KA Healthcare thread, which as you know, blew up at the end  ) Now we have to do our best to try and follow the new changes as they begin to unfold!
