If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I don't have any digestive issues, just joint and muscle flares, and SI damage. Will they do more harm than good, or even do anything at all?

Probiotics are good for the gut generally. Improves gut bacteria and flora. Can't, or shouldn't do any harm. Just ensure the good stuff and not any of the cheap nastty stuffthat is around (like that Activia and Muller Light). If in Nth America, then Stoneyfields yog is excellent. In the UK the Greek strain Yog and Rachelle's Organic are both good. Otherwise there are various supplements that one can purchase. A plethora of those on the market place.
No doubt othes will be chiming in soon.

Hey there,
I am on board with Molly. I believe they help with long term health. But cheap probiotics do not help.
Need a good balance of healthy bacteria, current average diet does not promote good bacteria for most.

Check that the Yakult does not contain artificial sweeteners nor yet starches - Yakult is not cnsidered one of the better yogs as is buffered with all manner of excipients. (Hyped up marketing I'm afraid!)

Scarlett, they might not benefit AS directly, but probiotics are good for us overall. You can get a product called Bio-K, which I've heard is one of two probiotics scientifically proved to be beneficial. It's a high quality fermented milk product (they also make a soy version for lactose intollerant people).
Hugs,
Kat
