If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey Can we start a thread on kickASer's hobby. My hobby is cooking, photography and aquariums. I was wondering if anyone of you willing to start such a forum/thread. I am posing a link here with photos from my last trip to Khathmandu,Nepal. Do let me know your ideas! http://s1104.photobucket.com/albums/h324/arindamk/?albumview=slideshowArindam

I have alot of little hobbies. My major one is cars and racing. I love working on them. Always wanted to do it for a living but no way my health would hold out for long if at all. I also like to dabble in cooking, aquariums, photography and alot into technology such as computers, mainly ethical hacking (more gray/white hat), and modifying things. I have a bad problem with never leaving something alone. No matter how well it works I am always trying to find a way to improve upon its design. It really is a sickness

Hi Arinda,
I love Nepal... but haven't been there since '87, I think!
I like cooking, photography, jewellery making, mixed media art, knitting and anything that involves a needle and thread ( except cross-stitch, because I'm not disciplined enough to stick to a pattern - I like to go with my own ideas!).
I also have an aquarium - cold water fish ATM.
Off to cheek out your pics now...

Hey Louise
Hope you liked the pics. You keep cold water fishes like gold fish? I am more into fresh water (tropical) planted aquarium and saltwater (fish and live rocks) . I have both now. Let me know if you have any comment on my pictures. I used a Pentax k20D with a 28-300mm lens.

I like jewellery making, primarily bead weaving, reading, sewing and knitting (although knitting is on hold right now because of my elbows and hands), genealogy, scrabble.
When I'm well I enjoy hiking, camping and canoeing but I haven't been able to do any of that for more than three years. Here's hoping...
Learning is also a hobby. I've had phases where I've done a lot of photography - I haven't done that for a while.

cooking. and watching the food network. and reading cookbooks and cooking magazines. and creating recipes. and dreaming of making my own cookbook someday, but that's won't happen before retirement, if ever. and of course then comes the eating part, isn't that why we started cooking in the first place, the only way to eat well on a budget! walking and biking. we have a number of awesome places around here to take my daily (ok, since school started not quite daily) walk. we have a big field out back that has grown quite wild (deer, rabbit, ground hog, skunk, fox, opossum, garter snakes, birds including warblers, turkey, coyote (not all at the same time though! and some not too often thankfully, like mr. skunk!). also live about a mile from the erie canal. not only good for walking but great bike trail too. though often its just up and down our street; farmland on the other side, so nice and semi-rural. or up to the lake (lake ontario) for walking along the lake, marshes, inlets, etc. and being in the northeast, great change in the flora and fauna as the seasons change. birds. not sure if a pet can be a hobby. but if so, our Grey (Timneh) keeps us occupied for hours. love all birds: parrots as pets as well as the wild (song)birds. have a feeder outside and bird boxes for them to nest in. have had bluebirds, tree swallows, wrens, chickadees, titmice. like having more pet birds, especially the bluebirds, very tame, come for mealworms when they hear our voices. love going to the wildlife sanctuaries to see more birds, great for combining walking and birding. photography. last year i started cataloging our garden. my husband is the master gardener around here. he has both the time and body to do so. i get to reap the benefits. then i started taking the camera on my walks, cataloging the changes in the seasons. i get a little obsessed when i have it in my hands, so have learned to leave it behind. my husband is an artist (plein air painting) and since i can't do that, photography is my way of capturing the world as i see it. my herb garden. given more time and a better body, i'd love to garden more. but in lieu of that, i have my herb garden. just small enough and low maintenance enough for even me. and then i get to combine that with my other passion, cooking; nothing better than cooking with fresh herbs from the garden. also lovely herbal teas come from my garden: one of my favorites is mint and lemon verbena. music. listening and collecting. music is great for distracting one of just about anything. can often change my mood just by listening to my music. sudoku. though not sure that is as much a hobby as a time distractor. great for traveling, while watching tv, to distract one from pain. is hanging out with hubby a hobby? if so, then put that down as my favorite hobby! know i'm forgetting things, but that's enough for now.
