I think that the remark 'Shady' when applied to my fine upstanding (well as upstanding as the rest of us AS'ers) lawyer will likely merit 28 days for contempt, and as for the claims that I took the icehouse, well it seems to me that Dow is getting off far too easily............Get Dow!!!

Hi, Chris, and welcome.
It seems like there is a lot of whining here. There is. We can vent to each other like we can to nobody else, because these people here are tough. Also, as you can see, they have no compunction against forcing us to laugh against our will and without our consent.
There was a loaded .45 ACP in my lap the first few times I posted here. The understanding, love and laughter I've found here have so far kept me from 240 grains of jacketed hollow point lead therapy. My family is grateful, too; I can dump here instead of on them, and so far they haven't had to clean up the mess lead therapy makes.
Strong? I found out I wasn't the only person to ignore AS for forty years until it dropped us. It's nice to know you're not alone. I think we had to be pretty tough to push on through the pain for all the years we did. I didn't know I had a problem; I thought moderate to severe chronic low back, hip and SI pain were just a part of life, so I soldiered on until the day the "bamboo" I didn't know I had between L4 and L5 collapsed, leaving me disabled. Guess I've got AS...
I loathe asking for help. I absolutely hate it. I'm a proud and stubborn SOB. I've done everything a Ranger does; having to ask for someone to trim my toenails absolutely sucks.
I've gotten strange looks, too. I'm not morbidly obese; I have a big, powerful build, and I'm relatively young, and lucky I'm fusing straight. I'm sure a lot of people wonder why I'm on a mobility scooter. I wear my Ranger hat when I go out; I get fist bumps and high fives from my brother and sister vets, but many civilians look at me strangely.
That's their problem. What do they fear-- a 5 mph Rambo on a little silver scooter?
Chris, feel free to vent here any time--it takes the strength of a warrior to ask for help. Trust me-- it beats lead therapy.

Well this morning after I received the disturbing photo below via an anonymous private message, I spent the day looking over my shoulder. Finally decided to hire a bodyguard for protection. He seems to be a competent fellow named Don Vito Corleone Jr. Apparently he knows of Bruno and promised to take care of him.
