Hi everyone,
I have been on Enbrel 4 years this month. for the first time
since being on it, I have iritis.
Since this is my first episode since being on enbrel, should
i just continue on with my shots, or skip them. My thinking
is to carry on along with my NSAIDs to help with the inflamation.
prior to being on Enbrel, i averaged every 4 to 5 years bouts
of it, however just prior to starting enbrel it was only 2 years and it lasted 4 months.
not sure if the Enbrel helped to keep it at bay
any information on Enbrel and iritis would be appreciated.
thanks everyone
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
I don't think you need to stop your Enbrel but you must get your eyes checked out and get treatment don't leave it you can lose your site without proper treatment.
