If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I am starting this topic as I am going to post something that many of you will dispute.
Personal Philosophy
Ones personal philosophy is an accumulation of learning and experiences over a lifetime. It evolves as thought processes change, cynicism creeps in and basic personal and philosophical truths are discovered. Your own personal philosophies may vary greatly from others and you will lean toward friendships and partnerships with those similar beliefs. Where and to whom you are born is the starting point and all experiences and learning throughout your lifetime is where you are today. We are taught the basics of life as we see it through our parents, our teachers, our religious instructors and as we mature some tightly held beliefs of youth and childhood fade whilst adult experiments, acquaintances and learning open new doors and understandings. THERE IS NEVER A RIGHT WAY OR WRONG WAY. Evolve and learn and discover your own truths while respecting the paths and truths of others.

Being respectful of others is always good advice, but the notion as you say THAT THERE IS NEVER A RIGHT OR WRONG WAY is ...well....wrong. If you don't believe me just ask Jim Marshal and Edward John Smith

I am personally a nature over nurture person, barring abuse or neglect as a child. I believe that; 1. Feeding the hungry is always right. 2. Torture is always wrong. But I get the drift - Who is Jim Marshal and the other guy? Peace

Where and to whom you are born is only part of the story. When is also important in forming peoples attitudes. If someone older is sent home from work for a disciplinary action, it is quite traumatic to the older worker with good work habits. With a younger person, to be sent home is met as a fun, "I don't have to work" attitude from someone who only works because he has to and who does not take pride in his work.

Thanks for the You Tube clip. I hadn't seen that in ages Poor Jim. I'm pretty sure he is was a Hall of Fame player, if not he just missed. Yet one wrong way mistake and he lives in a humorous sort of infamy.
The great Bob Ross was a fan of no wrong way to do things either but he was referring to his canvas and paint brush and even he admittted the wrong stroke were just "happy accidents" so I guess that was a concession that something had gone amiss. But he'd then tell you how a suirrel or owl could live in that happy accident so don't go tossing out the canvas.

Hi Staffy, You wrote a strong post. By saying nothing is right or wrong, you just made a conclusion that those who disagree with you about that are wrong???? Every law is a moral law. Many, most culture seem to have an instinct to love and nurture children, family, etc. Why did you post this? Is there a discussion you are hankering for? I hope that you are enjoying this wonderful place.
