Are you going to the local Bone and Joint folks? Hope you can avoid the surgery. For my broken foot, they said it would be easier to let it heal on its own. Of course that was at the ripe old age of 47, someone Ethan's age may be entirely different. Get on that phone....can't believe it's been a week since the accident and no one is calling you back yet. Sheeesh, it's so hard to get good medical these days...LOL.

Yea, Im not happy right now, I called and of course got to talk to a voice mail so I let her have it...he is STILL sitting here with 3 broken bones in his foot!!!!

Then Tori wanted me to make an appt. for her with a dentist at the free indian clinic, yea a 10 month wait, we could be dead by then..lol they do have a walk in 2 hours a day so I told her we would just do that..sheesh!

Poor little guy, I am so sorry to hear that he broke his foot. I hope that you hear from the doctor soon and at least get it set and put in a cast. The pain wont be so bad once they put a cast on it. Give him a big kiss for me.

Glad you got the appt, too bad it wasn't on Monday, but tomorrow you will know what's up. Give him a hug for me. And a hug for you, too, Mom.

Thanks girl..it means alot, we have got to get together. I would love it if you and hubyy would meet us at Stone Mill sometime and we can have our favorite German waitress Tatyana she is such a sweetheart!

Let me figure out what they are going to do with Ethan and we will have to make plans.

Hugs,

Lisa

I just can't believe that you had to wait that long. When my son broke his ankle on a Tuesday afternoon, our GP saw him at 10 AM the next morning and he was at the Ortho doc, getting a cast put on that afternoon. He ended up needing surgery the next week, but he was somewhat comfortable with the cast and some pain meds until he had the surgery. The problem is that many doctors are blind to a child's pain. Someone should break that doctor's foot, or perhaps it is just the office people that leave you hanging. Does he have enough pain meds to keep him comfortable? I wish I wish I could give him a big hug, poor kid.

Donna, thank you so much!

We feel the same way..the Dr. did prescribe him some pretty strong drugs but I havent given them to him, actually crossing between tylenol and ibuprofen but the pain is getting worse now actually pretty bad but hopefully we will have some answers tomorrow.

Thanks for the support, it means alot.

Hugs,

Lisa
