Have any of You ever typed Ankylosing Spondylitis into YouTube?
Don't know why, but today I decided to do just that. There are quite a lot of interesting vidios about peoples experience with AS. A lot are sad but a lot are uplifting. Give it a shot. Maby soon some of You will upload your story. If so let us know.

Hi there, Yes have, I think I have watched just about all of them. I have also uploaded 2 vids of my own from back earlier in the year when I was first diagnosed. I realy must do an update video I did promise I would.
There are a few AS vids I wish we could get removed. The ones that spout this or that will cure AS, as long as you buy our product rubbish.

I have also checked out the videos on youtube. An eye full and a chance to look into others in their journey. The sales nonsense or miracle videos are silly, and some of the videos are depressing but hear felt and therapeutic I imagine.

Be warned I have vids up and they were when I was first diagnosed so a little down and out. I realy must do an update.

Yes I have. I have an AS video of my own there too.
I'm justmeusually on youtube. (it's a little depressing, but I wanted to get the word out about AS, and let people know it's not a condition to take lightly, more or less)
Part of me wants to upload a 'part2' because there is alot of good news I can add, but part of me doesn't feel ready for another video just yet.

HLA-B27+, JRA diagnosis in 1981, re-diagnosed as AS in 1988. Also iritis, colitis, and psoriasis. NSD + low carb helps me. My health makes it hard for me to post in a timely way.

Hi Trish, Yes we have.  I say, let's go for it. lol. I'll make one soon, possibly within a week. I would like to be a little more cheerful in my next video, and also include an update about the dependency thing being long gone, and anxiety and depression is much better now. For some reason I keep feeling I shouldn't have included things like that in my original video. Take care. James

I was thinking the same. Not a lot has changed pain wise and a few new things have come up but my attitude has improved greatly, so has the depression.
Plan to update within the week also.
Will keep an eye on you too. lol
