If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

all right guys, ive used it 3 days now. drum roll please.....
short version:
does it work? yes is it worth trying? yes is it a miracle? well no lol. but to me, ANY relief from ANY amount of pain is worth noting.
long version:
i ran across a post at RoadBackFoundation from a lady whod been using this and claimed it took down pain almost immediately. so i thought id give it a go. glad i did! i physically cannot get in the tub to soak in epsom bath [magnesium sulfate] so i figured this oil might still give the relaxing benefits. though it is chloride and not sulfate [epsom]. as sulfate does provide other benefits. anyway last night i waited too long to apply it and actually noticed the effects were wearing off from previous days application. none the less, b/f rubbed it in over entire back and i put it on the front of my hips and groin where all the tendons and ligaments attach. this hip area is a big prob for me. its so tight it prevents me from standing straight up, im always bent forward at hips badly. as you can imagine, this puts a LOT of stress on the rest of my back and stiff neck. alright...on with it so here:
1 improved a few degrees in my forward tilt.
2 less pain
3 felt more relaxed especially at bedtime. my hips [pain] usually keep me up at night... not since using the oil :] wooohoooo!
4 my knees have had less pain too and i havent applied it to knees except for the first day as my test spot.
im really impressed with this!
when i called to see if the store had it the lady said 'yeah this stff is flyin outta here. massage therapists are comin in to get ittoo'.
so if you decide to try it, please come back and post :]

Yay! So glad to hear that this is giving you some relief. While you might not be able to get into the bath to soak in Epsom salts, there are a couple of other tricks people around here have used. These include massaging the salts in either after a shower while you're still wet, or mixing some with water and then rubbing it in. Also, you could soak a bandage or cloth in a solution, and wrap that on. Using a hot water bottle over the compress might help open up the pores and get it in through the skin. Check this site out. I just used up the last of mine last night, need to get some more!

ok, i'm here now. think when i saw the title i thought it was something to take orally. hadn't realized it was topical til you pointed that out to me in the other thread earlier tonight. sounds like something worth checking out!
i'll still want to take oral stuff for my bones, but topical sounds like its worth a try.
so, does it relax the muscles? make the tendons and ligaments better? both? other?
so glad you found this, all these little tools can be oh so useful!

ever the scientist, wondering if there really is a difference in effect between topical magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate (epsom salts)?
found this:
Magnesium Chloride Vs Magnesium Sulfate Magnesium chloride is a special form of magnesium that is natural to the sea as is magnesium sulfate, otherwise known as Epsom Salt. Both forms are used in emergency rooms to save lives but it is known that sulfate is more toxic and in transdermal application it’s less absorbable and retainable in the body then magnesium chloride is. The best form of magnesium supplementation obviously would be the most natural and that would be found where life began, in the sea. Magnesium chloride, though highly bioavaliable when taken orally, is idea when applied transdermally, either directly to the skin or when used in baths as Epsom Salts are traditionally used. The difference is remarkable between the two forms and is almost instantly noticeable. Magnesium chloride is easily assimilated and metabolized in the human body.[i] Epsom salts are used by parents of children with autism because of the sulfate, which they are sometimes deficient in; sulfate is also crucial to the body and is wasted in the urine of autistic children. Magnesium sulfate, commonly known as Epsom salts, is rapidly excreted through the kidneys and therefore difficult to assimilate. This would explain in part why the effects from Epsom salt baths do not last long and why you need more magnesium sulfate in a bath than magnesium chloride to get similar results.
but it was on the magnesium chloride site, and some of what they are saying, i'm not sure about?
so am wondering if either one, made into a 30% saturated solution, would have the same effects? and wondering if the sulfate is a problem? can say once in solution, no longer a compound, just the ions, and magnesium ions are magnesium ions.......so off to do some more digging.
not saying the magnesium chloride isn't good stuff, simply wondering if its any better than magnesium sulfate? or just more expensive?
off to google.........

im sorry i cant be specific between muscles and tendons hmmm. let me give you example : when i go to bed ill lay on my right side hugging body pillow and the body pillow is also between my legs. the front of my left hip, where all muscles/tendons/ligaments attach and all the way down to groin area stays tense from pain. if i relax on my own the pain gets much worse making my leg restless and i cant sleep. but when i put the mag oil on there about 30 min before bed i can relax it w/out pain = go to sleep.
i hope that answers your question. if not, please say something and ill try to answer it better if i can.
when i reported less pain and helps relax... its a subtle but yet noticeable difference. its like taking vit B for energy as opposed to speed or something. vit B gives you that nice subtle increase of energy where you may not notice in the moment but when looking back on your day you think 'wow i cant believe i did all that today. usually id do half that and be exhausted'. but the speed kicks in quickly and more noticably and your goin ' omg...look at me!' then later collapse in exhaustion. not sure if this is a great analogy.
for me, it takes the edge off the pain. not sure it does anything for inflamation. im so inflamed i cant tell.
great research info. ill be interested to see what else you find. i read a lot of the link i provided along w/ skipping around to other mag info. actually ran into some good calcium info too. like calcium citrate is better absorbed cuz it has acid to break it down but if you take calcium carbonate then you need to take it w/ food that has acid in it i.e. orange juice. theres certain times of the day to take certain vits so they are most effective. its fascinating.

thanks for the further explanations,
probably doesn't really matter if its the muscles/tendons/joints, all that really matters is that its helping.
sounds like you just put it where you hurt or are stiff and it helps, am i interpreting that correctly?
and i know what you mean about subtle (i'll insert the word gentle) help, that's kind of how i feel about the LDN. doesn't mean its less helpful, it just does it sort of "gently".
probably won't do any more "research" til the weekend. really its just a curiosity thing for me, wondering if the epsom salt "poultice" would work the same? but maybe wouldn't be as convenient even if it did work. but really, when i find something that works, i hate to play around with that, so if this is working, go for it!
and yes, i agree, all the supplement and vitamin stuff (and how they work in the body) is fascinating.
think it has just taken me awhile to realize that even with a healthy diet, i still need certain supplements, that maybe others wouldn't need, but my body does. or maybe we all do, but my body just isn't as forgiving.

yes i just put it where i need it like paint by number :] though i havent looked it up yet, some parts of the body are more absorbent than others. think ill look for a body map of that. i believe men and women differ too. just cuz i put it here or there doesnt mean i dont feel relief other places. my knees hurt less and i dont put it lower than my groin. also ive had the least amount of relief in my neck, but i fell if i can get the south in order the north might do the same.
