happy mother's day!
talked to my mom last night,
she's always too busy on the holidays to track down,
being whisked away by my brother who lives nearby to her,
or my stepfather.
finally this year i was a good daughter, sent her flowers,
though i wish i lived nearby so we could get together,
that would be far better.

Wishing all of our KickAS Mothers a terrific and pain free day!! I am having my parents and nephew and his family in for a cook out. I may not even make mom do any dishes..  Happy Mothers Day Mom!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY back at ya and to all other Mom's here. It's cold and snow showers here today not much to do in the way of celebration and both my kids live thousands of miles away.

Just found out my mother's away for the weekend! She didn't even tell me!  So I'll have to get together with her on Monday evening. She told my brother she was going but forgot to tell me. Apparently it was a sudden decision to go on a little trip. I guess that's as good as anything for a Mother's Day treat.

Let me thank all mother's for all they do! My sweet Irish/Austrian mother and all of my aunt's and sisters for there ability to give hope and strength when it is hard to find. Thank you to all women, mother's or not for helping to rub the knucklehead off of some of us men... I am only speaking for myself of course. Have a great Mother's Day!

i saw this and for a minute or two thought i was in trouble! how could i have forgotten mothers day??i had to ask the other half what was going on? im sure mothers day has been and gone!
was i loosing the plot?
then after the state of panic had past over me i could see no other posts from my fellow english askickers, so i see its a us thing. happy mothers day to all moms your the best!!!

When I moved to Argentina I learned that it is not same day all around the world. Here in Argentina and some other countries it is in October.

In England, it is in March. Until my husband's mother passed on last year, we needed to try to remember both dates!
