If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi All, Just need a vent I feel rough today think something is trapped in my neck either a nerve or my spinal cord is getting affected by my protruding disc . Base of my spine is sore and painful when sitting and my neck feels sensitive and stiff. When I woke this morning my left arm and hand was painful and my hand feels numb and painful when I use it my arm is hurting. I don't lay on that side so I know its not that and my hands have been bothering me for the last few weeks. Also my legs seem to have spells when they are not doing what I want and decide to give out or go all wobbly on me.I'm waiting a call from my Rheumy so I can talk it through and see what they think. Thanks for reading pick myself up now and get on as usual had worse.
Kevin

Hey Kevin,
No good to hear you've hit a bump in the road.... Reading what you have written makes me wonder if you have some impingement on some spinal nerve roots, or spinal canal stenosis symptoms.
Hope it's just a brief flare-up,

Hi Louise,
Yes that's what I'm thinking I also feel very drained and washed out if you know what I mean.

Hi Kevin, I'm sorry you're feeling like this. I get the same kind of thing, but not as badly as you describe. But my hands go numb (one side or t'other, rarely both at once, or both as badly at once) on the outside edge (pinkie and ring fingers), I get pain down my forearms sometimes to the point that I have to stop whatever I'm doing for a few minutes. I'm pretty sure mine is from ulnar nerve compaction, but nerve conduction tests came back normal, so I'm going to have to go back to my rheumy on it. From what you describe, it may not be the same thing, given your legs are involved too. I hope they can figure this out for you ASAP, my friend. The leg weakness is very concerning. Warm hugs,
Kat

Kevin, that's crappy - I'm very sorry to hear it. I'll post more when I get home from work but wanted to at least send sympathy this morning (my time) so I know you'll get it today.

Kevin, It does sound like a pinched nerve. I am sorry that you are haiivng this pain. I usually try to use heat and let it settle down, by laying still for a bit. As you know some things just get worse... Lon

Please, let us know what the Rheumy says. It sounds like something neurological, perhaps a pinched nerve. The fact that it is effecting your legs worries me. I will be keeping you in my prayers. Hopefully, it isn't anything serious. Donna

Are you sure this is due to the protruding disc. Because seems to me its more likely something Alan's done. Clearly its his fault.

Kevin Sorry to hear you in a 'dip'...I agree with the others, sounds like something's pinched. And, hey, maybe Alan did pinch it. I've gotten the impression he may be something of a pincher! Whatever the cause, hope you're feeling 'up' soon. Smiles your way. Tracey
