Hi Tom - Major Kudos for managing all those years of working hard and Congrats on your coming retirement! Just in time to enjoy spring in BC, that is perfect. Hi Timo and fellow ASer's: Tomorrow is my last work day! Thank you all for your comments. 35 years of breaking down pallets, stocking shelves, processing orders, providing customer service and much more. I don't know how I did it. I really don't know how I did it, mentally or physically! Last Sunday the management and staff hosted a retirement party for me at a local restaurant and we enjoyed a wonderful evening. I will dress up in a shirt and tie to celebrate my last day at work. Photos to follow. Over the years, logging onto to KickAS.org, I have been able to draw strength from all of you, my other family. I could not have done it without you! As others have said, I love this place. Keep well...Tom

Congratulations on your retirement! 35 years, with AS... inspiring.  I hope you have a wonderful last day at work, and that you're able to get out there and do more of those things that mean so much to you. Sounds like hiking is one...? Take care.

I look forward to your future posts about your transition into retirement, let us know how it is going! I imagine you having lots of time to take care of yourself and rest...and develop new interests or rediscover old favorites!
