OP tomloops Ninja_AS_Kicker Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 833 interior BC, Canada	Hi: I have been very fortunate to work as a clerk for the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch for approximately 35 years. It is a union job and has provided my needs for most of my life. The job required me to work in the warehouse, stock shelves, be a cashier, provide customer service and at times relief supervisor. It is a demanding job for a person with chronic pain from AS and I did it. I managed to do it for 35 years. In five working days I will retire. March 18 is my last working day! I have no plans. As aforementioned I am very fortunate to have been able to do such work. I look forward to the future...Tom

I wish you the best of times for the future. Anyone who has gone through what you have needs to be rewarded with plenty of time behind a good fishing pole, or on top of a comfortable hammock, or strapped into the driver seat of a car exploring the vast northern planes.
