If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Just thought I'd mention a few things that are going on with me. I'm having my S.I. joints and pubis fused together w/ some shiny new pieces of metal screwed in there. Then I'll have metal from my Cervical spine, all the way down to my pubis. Funky! Gonna have to show off my x-rays.
Also, got approved for a Home Health aid to come to my house. So far the company has sent me some real pieces of work! One girl came high & told me all about her ex husband's sexual prowess (and I know her ex, so I can't even look him in the face now)! Another girl dumped her son off at my house, and wouldn't answer my calls to come pick him up. The little monster TRASHED my house that day. The next aid sat playing my computer, smoking, talking on her phone, and chatting while she was on the clock, and asked me to drive her around while she ran some errands. Needless to say, they were all fired. So, I'm getting maid number 5 on Monday. Hope she does a better job.

I am really glad you are getting home health services, but geez, of which barrel are they scraping the bottom to get them? I would love to see your spine xray.

Hope you start to feel better, but the people that they keep sending isn't going to help in your recovery being stressed about who is in your house. Heck who screens these people before they get hired. I will keep my fingers crossed that number 5 is the one.

Wow! You WILL set off alarms won't you? I hope it helps you. I am sorry you have had such bad time with Home Health people. We have been so blessed with the ones we have had since my husband's surgery.
Don't give up. Just call the Supervisor and tell her what has happened and you need to keep trying.
When is your surgery? I will be praying for you.
What a surgery. Here I am not wanting to fuse my thumb/hand. Rather embarrassing. :o)
Hugs and Blessings. Possi

Hi, I hope the operation goes smoothly. You have metal from the top to the bottom of your spine? I have my two hips and the middle of my back decorated with metal parts. Hope you have better luck with person #5 on Monday. Take care, James

OOhhhhh - funky! Better be careful going through airport detection devices Best of everything for the upcoming surgery - sure are brave. Me? Wouldn't have the guts to even contemplate it, let alone facing such. More power to you and the whole surgical team. As for the 'home help', Lord above. That is horrific. Better get it sorted with the supervisor, you'll need *good help in place especially for later, when you're recovering. Take care - thinking positively for you

I just saw that you are located in Illinois, what part of Illinois? And if i could find out who your doc is? I had spine surgery back in 06 for 2 ruptured disc also for scoliosis in lumbar. I have the lovely rods and screws also. But my doc would not go to t-spine for the scoliosis said to dangerous and of course back surgery didn't work or it was the AS causing most of the pain along with the disc.

Hi there, I hope the surgery helps. Man, you're really going to have to be careful when you fly!!! I guess this would also make MRIs a bad mistake, yes?
Good grief, those home care specialists really were bottom-feeders, weren't they. With so many people out of work, you'd think they'd do their job well if for no other reason than they're grateful to have a job!! I hope you get one that's good really soon.
Hugs,
Kat
