SInce we've shifted to this new KickAS home I've run into the same problem over and over. As soon as a post rolls over to the second page I can no longer open it to reply or read what someone has said. I am assuming this happens becuase I am technically inept and not some flaw here. I haven't been peeking in as often as I used to but do hate to miss out on stuff just because its a day old.

I'm not sure if this is the cause of the problem, Steve, but have you tried viewing the posts in "flat" mode? Go to My Stuff; pick Edit Preferences; change Topic Display Mode to flat.

Spectacular. Don't have the foggiest why that works but problem solved. I clearly did not expect that to work and would have never thought to do that so my enormous lack of technical skills when it comes to these bloody computers remains fully in tact and my reputation as internet unfriendly remains unsullied. THans for the help.

Yep that's how my Dad survived for years. Automechanic who could build a race car out of sawdust and couldn't till this day start the microwave or the clothes dryer. Brilliant man my pop.

There's a few items in our house, like the horrid new digital cable box, that I'm hanging grimly on to my lack of knowledge about. So long as I can't operate it, I can act like it don't exist.

I shared that Onion clip far and wide when it first came out, Dow--even showed it to my mom (as you said, the language, phew!) and she laughed her head off. Seriously one of the funniest "fake news" bits I have ever seen. Fake, and yet so eerily accurate.

I have two AppleTV's (hard disk wifi boxes that will receive video wirelessly from a computer, and then to a TV)

and I hacked them both, so that they will play all standard types of video, not just Quicktime

but that clip pretty much summarized exactly how I felt at certain stages of accomplishing that

I had tons of trouble on the new site until I switched from internet explorer to firefox. Problem gone.
