Your correct Wendy. I abbreviate since it is a long name and my hands don't have to hurt anymore than already do. Lol

Good website on the RSD - shows X-rays of affected limbs (hands & feet refers).

OK, so Chicago isn't out of the realm of getting to.

Dr. Eric Rudermann at Northwestern is a gem. He's a rheumy. Go to him. Also see if they can get you into a doc that specializes in the RSD. You have a complex case and you need docs that know what they are doing. Dr. Skamra/Dr. Rudermann is a great team (she's still learning but she's SO nice AND knows her stuff) - then Dr. Rudermann comes in and you see him too. 2 opinions for the price of one. I'm sure they can get you to another doc that can help the RSD. You can go and make a day of it. They are downtown on the corner of Huron and St. Clair.

If you want I'll get you the phone #. You will need a referral from your GP.

take care,
Jewelz

Hi Laurie and welcome to KA. That's quite a journey you had to get here, but I'm glad you found us.

Hugs,

Jewelz, Thanks for info. If you could get the numbers that would be helpful and It would be nice to get away for the day.

Thanks,
