hi there,
i think i am just going to grumble now, so feel free to get to the next post.

I spilled my humira last weekend, well what really happened was that I had some bubbles in the syringe. I saw that when the needle was in me, also i tried my thighs for the first which didnt have much fat anyways. So i freaked (yes i know, that is stupid) so i took it out and got rid of bubbles only to discover the syringe does not want to go back in. So there, within a couple of days, came the freakinn flares. God it hurts.

Then this thursday I decided to the right thing and get travel vaccinations. Now, first 24 hours nothing, all was well. Suddenly cam fever by friday night. Got up at about three shivering.
And havent been well since, it is 7pm saturday and the high fever is still here. Aches, upset tummy, headache and no energy at all.

Really hope and pray, no one else gets such a reaction.

This isnt how i wanted to spend last weekend, before we head off to india. Havent bought anything for neice and nephew. ggrrrrr....

Hi Ansh,
This sounds like the reaction a lot of people are getting from the jab hopefully it should pass very soon. If not speak to a Doctor dont leave it.
Hope it clears before your trip.

Hi Kevin,

Just to add some perspective for anyone reading up about the swine flu jab - I had it and the only reaction was a slightly sore arm for a few days. That was the same reaction that everyone else I know had as well.

My daughter and her cousin are currently suffering big time from the swine flu, so I'm very pleased I had the jab!

Hi James,
Yes it seems to vary with different people Ive heard of a few in this country having bad reactions. Im glad you didnt and hope it stops you getting the flu.

I had no reactions at all to the H1N1 shot - not even a sore arm. Made me wonder if it really worked but I haven't had the flu so here's hoping.

Oooh, fair point guys,
Yup anyone reading, I gotta add that I have only had unpleasant reaction which seems to going away in about 40 hours, the only other bad incident was Kev's ordeal. But that was a different story.

So, yah, of all the people I know, apart from 2, all had a pretty comfortable jab. I really do believe it is worth it.

It would have been a shame, if I got swine flu and then infected everyone at the wedding! All 400 of them at the big fat indian wedding.
