Great question Lisa.

Like Steve Christmas is starting early for us (since the applications are over, and I can finally get into the spirit of things).

Today we went to Carols by Candlelight in the Cavern at Treak Cliff Cavern in the Peak District complete with a visit from Santa and an accordianist. We have a party with Loz's friends tonight and a Carol Service with my friends tomorrow night.

Monday we drive down to Heathrow and pick my parents up very early Tuesday morning. On Tuesday I will be learning some traditional Ukrianian dishes from the matriarch herself.

Wednesday is a blitz of last minute shopping and we have the boys for the night on the 23rd. Intend on going ice skating in Nottingham with the parentals and the boys on Christmas Eve before dropping the boys at their Mum's late afternoon. Christmas Eve will probably be a mixture of last minute wrapping, food preparation and possibly a drink down at the local pub (quite a tradition here in the UK which I've not yet experienced).

Christmas Day we're hosting 10 people, in my first ever big Christmas meal. It's not nearly as big as the meals for 25-30 my Mom used to do when I was growing up, but it's a start.

Boxing Day is Christmas Day with the boys.

27th is a Leicester Tigers Rugby Match at the newly expanded grounds, followed promptly by a collapse. wink

Really looking forward to it, despite my chronic level of exhaustion. We've even had some snowflake1 in England, so it really is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas reindeer

Christmasy hugs to all.
Jeanna xoxoxo

Hey Lisa,
Carol and I will have Christmas with my family Christmas day at my nephew's home. He and his wife received their Christmas gift yesterday afternoon when Kinzleigh Elizabeth finally decided to make her arrival. Everyone is doing fine and will be home in plenty of time for Christmas dinner. We will have Christmas with Carol's side of the clan on the 27th at home.

Wishing all Kickers a Merry Christmas

Hi Lisa
This year Christmas is at our house.
I have two daughters and we all take turns at hosting Christmas dinner.
Carol and I have three grandsons. The twins are 13 and the youngest is 9 years old. I am very close to all of them b/c I look after them quite a bit when their parents need me. I love doing stuff with them. The kids are oh so excited about coming here Christmas day.

Christmas eve is at my daughter's place most every year. She loves to host a "reveillon".(french for a Christmas eve party when we serve all sorts of French Canadien goodies. The kids get to stay up late.By the time they are off to bed, they are all so twinkled eyed that Christmas is in the morning.

Merry Christmas to everyone. holly

Mine will be um, interesting. The kids' dad will be visiting. It will be the first time they've seen him in 14 months. He'll be here all week, sleeping on my couch. I'm sure I will log in here for some sanity breaks.

Aside from that, it will be the kids (the 7 who are still at home) and I (and dad) Christmas Eve and Day. Sunday after we visit my sister and cousins.

Hey Lisa,

I will be with my mother and brother in Appleton where I grew up. My family could not make it up from Argentina and my brothers wife and step son are going to Alabama. But we thought it important to be with my mom this Christmas.

Pray you have a Merry Christmas this year.

Tim

After the crazy Christmas last year, Glen and I opted to stay home and chill this year, just the two of us. Very much looking forward to it. Unless my sister's baby comes before xmas... then we might head her way. Maybe a Christmas baby?
