Steve,
A regular single child pregnacy can be stressful enough, let alone a higher risk one like
yours and Diane's. I guess it's just one day at a time...hope for the best, and
be there to support one another. I'm quite certain you're both doing everything you are
suppose to do to nurture those three wee babes. Hang in there...the waters will
no doubt get rockier before it's smooth sailing...but it will come :)
Give Diane our love, and best wishes.
Cheers,
Steph

You guys are ALRIGHT! Diane was told to stop taking progesterone shots on Sunday. Poor girl, I've ben given her a 2 inch intramuscular shot every night fo 90 days. We were delighted to end that. She started to bleed yesterday and we see Doc tomorrow. He says start up injections again.
I am gaining tremendous awareness of what AS spouses must endure because I deal with my own pain a lot easier than with Diane's fears and suffering and the threat to the three Tots to be. I hate the helpless feeling.

Steve,
I sure hope you and Lady D. will be doing much better soon. When my wife, Karen was pregnant with our daughter Laura she had some very bad times. I had to rush her to the ER about 9 times. The Dr's. and nurses got to know us by our first names we were there so many times. About 4 of those times they even brought out the "TERMINATE PREGNANCY' machine. Scared the hell outa me and Karen. The final trip to ER was in her 7th month, and the Dr. said we want to keep her here. Karen spent the next 25 days in the hospital without being able to get out of bed. The Dr's. had allways said that it would have to be a C Section birth. Three days before Christmas I was called at work to come to the hospital. The C sect. was done and our daughter Laura greeted us with a bunch of loud crying. She was born 1 month premature, so small I could hold her in one hand, about 5 lbs 13 oz., but in good health, then the hospital called to say she had joundice. Well she came through things fine and so did Karen. We left the hospital on New Years day. Laura was allways small, usually smaller that her friends. It was that way until a couple of years ago, then she started to get tall. She is as tall her mom now. She is 13 now and a cheerleader for her school football and still growing.

So, Hang in there you guys, things will get better. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Stay Well

You know we love both You and Diane. And wish you guys didn't
have such a hard road to go this year. Hope you let us know what way we can help the most. I can offer my prayers and offer a shoulder or an ear for venting. What ever you guys need KickAs folks are behind you and your budding little family.

Much Love to All of You,

Coleen Ann

Richard . THanks. And thank Laura too. I think that was the inspirational message I needed. Odd thing about this place. Before Diane people who knew me and cared about me called me "the wind". I was there and to be felt but never really a presence. I was Jeremiah Johnson, an independent soul caring about others but so detached it was scary. Di got me connected and this place makes me wonder how I ever got along the way I uesed to be. Thanks everybody for being a small or large piece of me.

Hang in there Steve and congrats on the pregnancy. Wish I could give some great advise - but I've never had a multiple pregnancy and imagine in your case it's three times as difficult as one. I had many problems with my first pregnancy and delivered a 4 lb pre-mature little girl. The road was rough but the miracle was wonderous.

I'll be keeping you two in my prayers,

Jill
