If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Well I sort of adore her really, in a cruel bullying sort of way!! lol Believe me Megan.......Ahhh now there is a point, how do you pronouce your name. Mig says 'Meeegan' as in Me, I do it as in Keg or beg??? Anyway believe me, Mig gets her own back on me and always wins our debates cos she is a bit clever, so I have to get her back where i can..lol

Weellll... I'm not sure if I can properly settle this debate! The pronounciation depends on who you ask in my family - my Dad's side is Welsh/English, so my Great Grandma had me as a Meeegan, and my mom's side (and I think the more typical Canadian way of saying it) pronounces it more like Megan with first syllable "May". When I was living in New Zealand for awhile, it was back to Meeeegan. I emailed my dad years ago from New Zealand to ask him, when they named me, what pronounciation did they intend? My dad said that's why he nicknamed me Fred. lol So there you have it. Not sure if you can get Mig back on that one! PS I think the most adorable thing ever, is hearing my nephew call me Auntie "May-ten" because he can't get the "g" sound just yet.

What! Not me eh, huh, well that's doesn't seem fair Alan. I took you snow-shoeing after all, the least you could do is reciprocate with a nice desert hike. so I have to get her back where i can..lol well, golden opportunity right there, looks like she wants an invitation to go take a hike!

Cripes Megan, Meegan, Maygan, this is all very complex. Your dad though, is clearly a clever chap and has solved the problem. As such with your permission you shall hanceforth be known as
Fred!
I hope and trust that in a spirit of pronoucificatory togetherness that all KA'ers will too use this non confuseable name.
Hiya Fred
(Apologies if this is a private family nickname and you wish it to remain so.)
Inthat case there are other choices, options, alternatives, you begin with an M errr............ahaaa I have it.....

Indeed actually and yes......Mayten, please forgive me for barging into your thread, but yes...
Mig did take me snow shoeing; in the snow, which was underfoot, well it would be! The difficulty I have is what to remember first, perhaps my first attempt at walking in 20 feet of crispy white with a sniggering Canuck on my right, or maybe instead, the fear of my large wobbly body sinking ever deeper as the snow shoes realised that they were not up to the job. In actuality what I remember most about this fridge-born adventure is either Ghooosh or elbow!!!
In fact the memories are chrono;ogically speaking
Snigger - Elbow - Ghooooooosh - head embedded by feet - Cackling Canuck..........
Oh yes, she took me snow shoeing alright!!!!
So enough off your sympathy for her on KA.....

Oh what a bunch of silly fibs! There was NO elbow! The snow was lovely fresh and white, not crispy, but pretty well perfect snow-shoeing conditions actually. You really can't get better than that Alan. And I did not snigger or giggle.. I gasped! And if I win all of our debates (which is not true) then why is it that I'm always left without any points??? I quite like Fred tho. Yep, that solves it. Although I think Meegan was just being kind, not wanting to say I am wrong and you are right cos she knows how you would wave that over my head for the next year. lol And Dow -- stop helping him!!!!
